Hi everyone,
I am a 19 year old in the acute stage of peyronies. Today I went to the shops and bought these supplements:
- COQ10 (150mg tablets)
- Acetyl L-Carnitine (500 mg tablets)
- L-Arginine (powder)

I am just seeking some advice on how much I should take to start off with and how safe it is to be taking all these supplements.

So far I am considering this:
1 coq10 tablet per day, split into two, taken morning and night (150mg per day total)
2 tablets of acetyl L-Carnitine per day (1g total)
2 grams L-Arginine per day (not sure if I should split into 1 gram servings and take it twice per day)

Should I be safe taking this everyday, and should I expect any side effects?

I am unable to get pentox at this time. Uro has only issued me vitamin E topical creme.

Thanks.

EDIT:Just realised I can't split the COQ10 tablets because they are liquid based, so I have to take all 150mg at once.

I expect this will get moved to the introductory board.

Vit E cream is a waste of time. Vit E will do nothing for Peyronies.

At your age, and assuming you're in good health, what you're taking is fine. If you can, try to obtain the ALC and Arginine in powder form. It works out far cheaper and both dissolve easily in water or juice. Personally, I take more than that with very few problems aside from the occasional gastric reaction.

I would also recommend traction and/or VED. These will hopefully help to minimize the curvature. Start slowly and build up.

You really need a more clued up Urologist who will prescribe Pentox. Vit E is treatment from the dark ages. If you cannot change Urologist, I would print off the various studies and papers done by the world's leading Urologists and show them to your doctor. (They're available on the site) Hopefully he will take heed.
