The man's Peyronie's may or may not be unusual, but the "specialists" denying a possible link between ejaculation and fibrosis is disturbing, since so many of us report similar symptoms including myself. In fact it seems that ejaculation has been the sole cause of all flare ups and worsening.

Certainly this possibility has been discussed on this board. Pelvic and prostate issues do indeed have physiological links to Peyronie's or fibrosis through a range of factors.

This article simply reminds us just how ignorant of Peyronie's our society is, and how misunderstood it is medically. 38 for aggressive Peyronie's isn't even unusual, as most of us got this even younge. My symptoms started at 18 without injury.

Neo, I think this article is written primarily for dramatic effect, as British tabloids are notorious for doing.  How in the world could anyone put a number on the number of erections he would have left in him?  While it makes for a fascinating headline and story premise, it sounds far more sensationalistic than scientific.

Beyond that, I have a hard time wrapping my brain around ejaculation being a cause of or contributor to Peyronie's.  I realize you feel the two are inextricably linked, but in my own case, I developed a flare up out of the complete blue in 2013 during a period when I was having maybe one orgasm a week, as opposed to long periods of time when I'd have one a day and never had any trouble with Peyronies Disease.  Additionally, many old men (like my father) develop Peyronies Disease in their golden years when they're not having any sex at all.

I just have a hard time buying into the "hands-off" theory, I guess.
