I am taking pentox & at my last dental cleaning the
lady noticed more bleeding during the process.
She ask if I was taking any new meds.
I told her about the Pentox.Could this be the cause?

Pentox is a blood thinner, even the way of work is not as the usually blood thinners. As it makes the red blood cells flexible and able to penetrate the thinnest blood vessels, it may increase the bleeding.

Pentox reduced my platelets below normal. Platelets help with clotting so it makes sense that it could it could increase bleeding.

I was hopping for that during 18 months on Pentox as mine are in the range of 1,000,000 but it didn't affect me at all.
