Hi All

First post, I have PM'd a couple of experienced forum members including the incredibly welcoming old man, who have been incredibly helpful so thank you all for the insight  you provide. But I thought I'd throw this question open to the forum and to all VED users.

Recently diagnosed, though gradual changes have occurred appearance wise for 12-18 months but only now has pain set in. Pain is non existant when erect, only when flaccid does it ache/throb. I'm sure this is exacerbated by the stress/anxiety of the recent diagnosis. Everything hurts a whole lot more when you're obsessing over it 24/7.

My question, even allowing for the pain, is it best to commence VED Therapy asap? O alternatively is it best to get pain under control first, either through Ibuprofen, Pentox (commenced today) etc.

I dont think the pumping itself will hurt, I'm concerned about any additional damage this may do in its current inflamed state.

Thoughts?

Thanks to all for their contributions.

Have you been using VED prior to the pain starting?

Personally I had a lot of pain flaccid and never used VED because I think it would have made my pain worse.  For me pain was a primary symptom so doing anything that could irritate it would be counter productive.  But everyone's case is different so I can't really tell you what you should do.

No I haven't used the VED yet, pain has been increasing over the last 4/6 weeks, but noticably it doesn't hurt to get an erection/masturbate etc. So its not the VED therapy itself, more the residual trauma/inflammation I'm concerned about.

What worked for you pain wise mate?

My penis generally aches pretty consistently, regardless of whether I'm flaccid or erect.

I actually find use of my VED helps reduce this pain massively - on days where I don't pump for any reason, my pain is far more apparent.
