Hi everyone,

New member here, but I have come back again and again to this forum many times reading other's posts and discussions. Over the last 4-5 months I have had growing concerns about peyroines disease caused by excessive masturbation and porn use.

I saw a urologist about a month and a half ago to address it. The doctor did not even look at the forms they had me fill out and spent less than 5 minutes total with me. He ended up saying I didn't have peyronies disease, that my weaker erections were induced by my medications (wellbutrin and vyvanse that I had been on for 2 years before that with no problem), and suggesting if I had a slight bend to the right in my erect penis that I masturbate less. I have cut down masturbating significantly but this has not been easy. Also, I was born with a slight curve in my penis that doctor's assured me was normal not sure if that could contribute.

My symptoms are:

-about a half an inch shorter erect penis
-discoloration of glans underneath the skin
-softer head of the erect penis
-newly visible veins on my flaccid penis
-very slight bend to the right in erect penis
-less girth to erect penis
-occasional narrowing of erect or flaccid penis

I've also tried to alter my masturbation techniques to avoid the deathgrip, but I'm not sure that is good enough. Ultimately, I want a healthy organ that I can use to be intimate with a woman. I haven't been sexually active in almost a year. I'm well aware that the hand is nothing like the vagina and am afraid this will significantly inhibit my ability to respond to her. Has anyone here invested in something like a fleshlight to masturbate healthier? Did it improve your erection strength or help you to gain back some of that girth or length?
Another tool I've researched thoroughly is the penis traction device which I'm skeptical of. I am not trying to increase my size to anything past what my previous healthy size was, just get back to what I know I had. Has anyone used this?

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I moved your topic here, you will get more attention on this board.
Regarding your post:
Some of your symptoms are Peyronies symptoms so maybe you have Peyronies.
To be diagnosed and start treatment you must find a Peyronies specialist and not a regular urologists.
You may find it here:

In the mean time, you will want to read:

Ist 87 your year of birth? This would mean you are around 26, which is pretty young for Peyronies. The chance of getting this at this age is less than 0.03%. And many of the 0.03% of men under 40 affected have some predisposing condition like Dupruytens, Diabetes etc.. But you mention cogenital curvature. And that I would consider a predisposing factor.
So go to specialist to make sure. Masturbation technique will not give you back length.

I got it at age 29 while in superior health (no diabetes, depuytren's or any typical comorbidity illnesses). Many of our new members are young men. While it is rare, it is not unheard of.

Same here I got it at 30, no diabetes, depuytrens's or anything else. It is rare but does happen I also exercise regularly and was told by the doctors I'm in excellent shape and good health

NeoV

Got it at 25 but had symptoms since 18.

As a lot of us know, peyronies isn't clear cut.
The OP is wise to question his masturation technique, as I've said before I really think until now I did damage to my penis by being slightly reckless.

Now that I have begun to masturbate differently my symptoms are improving.

I would recommend VED and gentle traction or manual stretching, be aware they come with risks.

Thank you to everyone for their replies! I really appreciate your time.

James- I appreciate you moving the post to a more relevant area of the forum and I reread the survival guide. The urologist I saw said he was qualified for treating Peyronies Disease on his website if that means anything. But to see a Peyronies Disease specialist would involve me going across the state (closest doctor is in Philly). Not sure that is a realistic option right now.

emasculated- I am actually only 22 so like you mentioned I am aware of the low odds of Peyronies Disease given my age.

Like Skjald and rd, I do not have any of those typical comorbidity illnesses and exercise quite regularly.

Thank you NeoV for the technique suggestions. I just invested in a fleshlight and hope with a combination of reduced frequency and a less abrasive/more realistic technique I will be able to help my member recover at least to some extent. I'll also further research gentle traction and manual stretching. If you could give any advice to prevent full blown Peyronies Disease to your 18-24 yr old self before getting diagnosed at 25, what would it be?

Have any of you struggled with a porn/masturbating addiction? There is no doubt in my mind that my issues stem from these activities and while I have periods of time where I am able to completely refrain for about 10 days, I repeatedly come back to it in a binge.

Thanks again for any input and best of luck with your respective recoveries. I am extremely grateful for this forum.

"Avoid any injury. No penetrative sex or any sexual conduct that involves stress on the penis.
If you absolutely have to have penetrative sex, take 5 mg Cialis beforehand to ensure rock hard erections."

I think about that all the time how I could have avoided this... I tried to have sex with my now ex girlfriend who had difficulties (called vaginismus) and with insufficient erection damaged myself. She is gone now and I'm left with the mess. I should have dumped that ........girl when I had the chance. Anyways.. got a little sidetracked here.. avoid injury is what I'm saying!

I'm sorry to hear about that man. That truly sucks. Wish you nothing but the best with your recovery. And thank you for the advice.

Get a fleshlight. It really helps for the deathgrip and it trains the penis to react in anatural way.

Due to this condition Im without a partner for a long time and this neat device helped to get some release, albeit having less then good erections.
