Hello everyone,  I am 52 and noticed about 6 months ago that my penis was starting to curve upwards about one and a half inches from the tip. Presently it is curved up at about 45-50 degrees and I am worried that it may be getting worse. After finally googling "bent penis" I have discovered that I have this disease. Prior to this I may have done myself more harm than good by trying to stretch it the opposite way. I tried to make an appointment today with my doctor but he is away on vacation this week. My situation is troublesome, as l believe I caused the trauma to myself  while having an affair with another woman. My wife(57) and I live like roommates in a sexless marriage. We both seem to be disinterested in each other sexually. She hasn't seen my erect penis in more than a year so she isn't aware of the new shape. I hope to find help and advice here and "straighten" matters out in the hope that my wife and I can resume some sort of sexual life together again. Thanks for reading.

First step is to see a doctor and to start a treatment as soon as you can. In early stages treatments are much effective than later stage.
Pentox, low dose Cialis, Ubuquinol, VED, Traction, all may help to straiten your penis.

boomer,

You have put yourself in a precarious position with the affair, but Peyronies Disease can happen to any man, regardless of having rough sex or not.  It happened to many of us when we were just trying to live our normal lives.  So, you don't have to explain how or why it happened to anyone, including your wife if you don't want to.  No one knows why some men get Peyronies Disease and others don't.

IMHO, trying to cope with Peyronies Disease is stressful enough without having to worry about your wife finding out about your affair.  Continue to do your research on Peyronies Disease and it might help you rest your mind a little and figure out how to go about letting your wife know you have it.

Best of luck to you and remember, Peyronies Disease doesn't have to be the end of your sex life.  Many men on this forum are living happy and sexually active lives with Peyronies Disease.

Boomerwang- Your curve is exactly how I looked the first time we noticed it. Got an appointment with my Uro and started with his directions and augmented his treatment with much of what I learned here and else where on the web. Start there as James said. I have stabilized, if not gotten slightly better after about 9 months into this. Now concerning the affair. If you mean you think peyronies came as a result of rough sex during the affair, that's one thing. If you think it was because of some strange kind judgement, let that go. If peyronies hit every man who was less than perfect, every swinging dick in the world would have it! Welcome, Regards Inkhorn

Thanks for your support gentlemen. James,  I will start with the supplements that you recommend. It may be a couple weeks or more before I can get in to see my doctor. I will keep everyone posted on my progress. Wish me luck.

I stand corrected. Hawk , not James.

Has anyone experienced negative side effects from the supplements mentioned in Hawk's "Must Read" information? If so, at what dosages are side effects unnoticeable or at least tolerable? I am 6'1" and 215lbs.
