I have had the restore x for 5 yrs but never did counter bending consistently and stopped out of fear of damage. I started it consistently within the past month and have seen very drastic results. Is the counter bend safe, putting so more force on one part of penis? I'm afraid of damaging the side being pressed by the device.

You will definitely feel a big stretch with counter bending. Just release the tension a bit until comfortable.
