Hello all. I am 46 years old. In 2023 I noticed an indentation at the penis base, and it started pulling to the left during erections. The plaques continued to grow and resulted in a 45 degree curve to the left, and slightly down.

Two years later I am now being treated at UCSF, and had my first 2 Xiaflex shots this week. I am healing but am still experiencing bruising and moderate to severe pain with touching.

The changes in my body caused by this disease are difficult to accept, but I try to remain optimistic and view this as part of the journey of life.

Welcome bro, sad to be in this group though... My affliction is pretty bad right now too. I don't see the urologist till mid January. Have some internal wounds inside my penis for the past 20 years ongoing I'm 42. I was in denial, thinking I was gonna heal all magically lol like it ain't no thing. But yeah my testosterone levels and energy levels are intertwined with the status of my penile inner lacerations. Not exactly peyronnoes but I feel it, the affliction that is. Been on this forum for a while. All I could pray for is that you get the peace of mind until it heals, and also a clean slate of health.

Maintaining mental health through this is hard, and pretending like it isn't real works sometimes. Most of the time I can only laugh. Not too many better options.
