Hi all

have another scar forming on the bottom right. it feels like a plaque from peyronies but its a bit more superficial and mobile. It hasnt cause much of a narrowing or tightening or bend at the moment. could this be a scar forming on one of the other layers of the penis? it started as a thin string like entity and has now grown larger to about 1 cm in length but there's no pain whatsoever either

thanks

No, that most likely is not plaque. It doesn't look like that. Plaque is much deeper seated.  Some of us with peyronies have this vein like bulge that forms from one of the deeper viens under the skin. And it is on bottom right for me too ! I am forgetting what the term was but it is a circumferential vien on bottom right that bulges for a lot of people on here including me.

its become quite wide down the length of my penis but yeah it does feel more superficial than my plaques. also it's been around for a month and a bit, usually by that time i'd have narrowing and pain

Most of us on this forum have it. It is a circumferential vein near the bottom right side. It is a vien in my opinion. You have to realize a lot of Veins are in penis too, even below the skin. What we don't know is why men with peyronies have this bulging vein form.

Dr. Levine thinks its probably due to the change of the dynamics of the penis. I guess some veins will now get more pressure/stress, making them bulge more than usual?
It's nothing to worry about as long there's no pain/issues.
26 years old. 20 degree upward curve with slight clockwise twist. Symptoms onset Dec 20.
Dr. Levine says it's not Peyronie's Disease but a slow healing wound. Saw him Mar 21 and May 21.
Traction (PMP) and supplements per Dr. Levine's recommendation.

benray, so if a new vein appears and forms a bulge/is palpable, that's fine as long as there's no pain?
i have a new vein/bulge + chord, but i am still feeling pain, more than 8 months in.
