Guys,

Just started Cialis yesterday. I'd been prescribed it for a few months but i didn't take it till now because I was worried about priapism, due to the time i actually got peyronie's i was having ridiculously long lasting night time wood that seemed to just be permanently erect at a low level.

Well, my nighttime wood and erections laying down started getting so weak it was just obvious that I'm developing some form of mild ED now. So I started taking it yesterday.

I thought it's quite a long lasting pill so I might not need to take it on the second day. But my penis felt a little tight today and it does say on the pack to take it every day 2.5mg so I thought I'd take it. I must say I felt some very low level dizziness for a bit after the 2nd day pill. I also have a bad knee so i had taken codeine about an hour before, and also had a double espresso an hour before that. So wondering if all of those factors intensified my experience?

I was just wondering if I really do have to take it everyday or not? How many of you take it everyday?

At what time of day do you take it? does it matter since I'm not sexually active right now? I took it just before lunch - midday seemed like an easy to remember time to take it.

I definitely found it easier to get an erection. and also the erection seemed better when laying down but I definitely lost a lot of engorgement just from laying down. Pretty worried about that, that seems like a pretty worrying sign. Even the cialis couldn't improve that.

Hi Eric, it can help both improving your erections each day and long term w your Peyronie's by remodeling plaque to healthy tissue.  But for that you need to take it daily-any time should work.  I wouldn't attribute the dizziness to it when you also took the codeine.  But if it were to happen to give you a bit of dizziness, maybe take it at bedtime.  Also, any med side effects can go away once your body adjusts to a medication.  Good luck and keep us posted.

I take Cialis daily, and like most things any side effects subside in a while.  I did have a tendency to get mild headaches on it, and I have noticed I do have sort of like a semi-erection most all of the time. But luckily it doesn't get past that point unless I want it to.  The goal here is to get as much blood into your member as they can.  Improving that will help... so take it daily.

Tony, Brett, hi, and thanks for your responses.

I'm noticing more of a hang to my flaccid penis, more size overall actually. I'm pretty pleased with that. As my flaccid penis was looking really worse for wear. I hope the extra bloodflow or whatever yields some kind of long-term improvement.

I did start having pretty bad heartburn today though. I did have several beers last night, I wonder if that was the trigger? No plans to drink for a while now, so hopefully it will improve - although it does seem to be a very common side effect.

I hope you're right Brett and that it will go away as my body acclimates to it.

Try It without the alcohol, if it persists long term consider an antacid.

If you just started taking it, i would give it a few more days of actually taking it, to see if your body gets used to it. You can ramp up the dosage. Take it every other day, and then proceed to every single day. It should help. I don't have any side effects, but i know we are not all equal.

Cialis daily in general is very well tolerated. The ache you are feeling should be from the harder erections on the first times. I went through that!

Hi guys. Well i didn't take it today cuz the heartburn has really been pissing me off, but, nature called whilst I had a moment laying down after a busy day and I started getting an erection.... it seemed very weak.... so I stood up as thats where i get the strongest erections. The erect length had decreased and the penis didn't have much sensation...

To be honest, I did feel a bit of an ache/discomfort/tingly pain sensation in my flaccid shaft the day before.

Having seen this site someone posted https://peyronies-disease-help.com/peyronies-treatment-cialis/ - this pain worried me a bit.

After this failed erection my flaccid penis was really quite retracted/shortened... feeling a little sore too tbh. Nothing major though.

I'm really not sure whether to continue with Cialis or not.

I've emailed my urologist so hopefully he will come back to me about this.

So you guys got a bit of pain/tingling/aches after you first started cialis too?

I mean it would make sense that the tissues are gonna get stretched with the new volume of blood.

Eric, the link you provided is selling information so I wouldn't give much weight to anything their saying.  Talking to your doc is a good idea.  Hopefully, any side effects such as acid reflux will subside w time...if not there are other Pde5i you can try.

Yep that acid reflux was a bitch. Still somewhat agitated days later. Possibly have a stomach lining issue from long term ibuprofen. I get side effects from those acid reduction tablets too, so that won't be an option for me. Been off Cialis since Sunday now, and notice a smaller flaccid, smaller all round penis tbh.

I'm going to speak to a couple of doctors and see what they think, the uro wouldn't handle my enquiry by email. Has to be an in-person appointment apparently.
