Hey guys. Just felt like sharing my day a bit. I've been back home in Portugal for vacation and decided to travel and see this doctor, which is one of the few implanting in the country and he was very knowledgeable.
I had the appointment just 1 hour ago, and I am very pleased about it. He listened to my story very attentively, was in the know about all the top American doctors, procedures and devices and even read the report I brought him from my 2016 appointment on doctor Goldstein.

I asked him about penile implants, because that's what I want to pursue for me. He said that he would have to first do an ultrasound, but if the results confirmed my penile fracture he would have no issue installing an implant.

He mentioned as well that installing a Coloplast Titan was a good option for me, since I am young and it has more axial rigidity.

The consultation price was 85 eur out of pocket.... Fair to say we can now recommend patients from Portugal/Spain or even Europe who are looking for this treatment option.

Below is the website for his practice:

Good news for you, Pfract. You sound excited by what's happened. I'm intrigued tho - am I correct in saying you would travel back to Portugal to have the implant surgery rather than stay in the US to have it done and if so, why? Can I also ask what age you are too, Pfract?
Aged 52 congenital curvature and then Peyronies onset, excision and grafting not successful,
Coloplast Titan implant on June 3rd, 2019 (aged 47) to correct a 90 degree bend

Hey Roddy! It was definitely a very good experience. It is rare for doctors in Portugal to give so much support like he did. I do feel like that is an option now. Total cost for the procedure and implant is 13.000 euros... A significant drop in price as compared to the states. Still, I feel sort of more confident doing the procedure in the US... I'm 33 years old. In my mind I'm still 18! Haha

Hey pfract, just saw your note.
Good for you.
So is Canada not a good place for implants?
I would think Toronto being a huge city and very progressive would have some pretty good surgeons.
Just curious.
By the way, I know this is something you are looking at down the road, but I assume your penis is working ok or are you not using it much? I don't mean to be to nosey, but everyone pretty much shares all their stuff on here and i don't recall the reason for you delaying.., but was wondering how you are doing?
I appreciate you caring for all of us, but what about you?

Hey stepone. Based on what I have seen online and the surgeons I met in person (Gerald Brock and Ethan grober)  I would not want to do the procedure there. You are indeed right about the city, but their attitude towards the patient leaves a lot to be desired.

Yes... I can still have satisfactory erections with daily cialis 5mg, but I am not going to risk having intercourse again, because the penis feels weak, hurts at the base and I am under the impression it will bend it I start moving it around.

Not a problem at all you asking. Sometimes I feel like I should share more things about my situation or write a diary thread, but I end up never doing. I've been sort of ignoring my problem. Sort of. There's a lot I feel I need to vent but at the same time not much comes out. I've been for 6 weeks on vacation in Portugal, my home country, and decided to see this doctor to sort of kick start the 2nd phase of my quest towards the implant. I got more in store that I will share in two/three months if all goes well.

Not having intimacy with a girl is taking it's toll on me but I am doing all I can to cope....thanks for asking man

Hey you are going through a lot. And at age 33, I can't imagine your feelings. We all deal with things differently, but I commend you for holding things together by helping with this website. I have two friends that bought a second home on Portugal coast. Their plan is to move and retire there in a few years.
As we have seen on here, someone that does a lot of implants is the key to finding a new penis.
One thing I gathered from your statements  is that you have satisfactory erections. One of the things that my surgeon told me was that satisfactory erections does not maintain length and girth. He said that the penis will shrink when not used and/or rock hard erections are not experienced on a regular basis. He said unlike muscle, penis tissues do not come back.
I know you are in your 30's, but have you had your free testosterone checked?
A friends son was wavering in his sexual issues and had his testosterone tested and it showed him with a level of like 300 which is low. They found Both testicles to be functioning, but at low levels. They started him on TRT and he became more interested in sex and of course had raging hard erections.
I too experienced low testosterone too, but mine is more age related.
I wish you well my friend and thanks for your sharing and all you do for this website.
Man hugs

Hey Stepone. I missed your reply. Sorry for that.  My issue is totally related to the fracture. I had zero problems with testosterone, as far as I know. I believe you in the part about loosing size, but I have my doubts when it comes to not being able to regain it. There are some medical papers with cycling protocols and photo evidence of members that where able to get some size back prior to having their implant installed by using vacuum daily for some weeks straight.  I'm very willing to try that.
