Hi guys,

Recently read on a bodybuilding forum that sustained use of L-arginine causes the body to become tolerant to it. The post recommended a schedule of 2 months on, 1 month off.

Just wondered if any erectile dysfunction / peyronies sufferers using L-arginine had experienced this or had an opinion?

Many thanks

Peety

Yeah, I take it but in low doses with Pycnogenol. I also don't take this combo daily (sometimes yes but also hold off a couple days at times too, etc). My doc also in my last meeting (who is a good uroligst thay understand ed better than the average) that l arginine is good but to take it intermittently due to tolerance

Pressure

I take 1.5 grams of Acetyl L-Carnitine and 2.5 grams of Citrulline Malate daily, and have done daily for the past four months. And in the past month of so I have noticed losing a few hairs, each time I wash my hair. Never used to lose any. Was worried but I researched that amino acids can make your hair cycle quicken up, and it's not the start of baldness.

Thanks guys, both very useful to know. Could pycnogenal on its own be used as a substitute for l-arginine during the off-period?
