So glad I found this forum...first off, I'm 54 in very good health, and had my first experience with this disease about 12 months ago. It happened after a rather heated session of intercourse with my wife of 22 years. I overexerted Mr. Happy in a half inflated fit a hormones...I found out I'm not 19 anymore that night. Several days and weeks afterward, there was pain on the dorsal side of my penis during erection, I noticed a short time later that a bump had formed in the same area; there was no deformity at this point, but the bump got a bit bigger. Then the bending started. I did a lot of reading on the subject, and found that most Dr's would not treat until the condition stabilized. So I waited to see whether it would advance or decline. Finally it stopped at about 30 degrees upward bend after 12 months. I read there were stretching exorcises  that may help, and have been doing them a few times a day for the last two months with a small bit of success.

My wife and I can still have sex, but are now limited to a couple of positions...I actually thought the upward curve would be a side bonus for my wife's G spot, but she's never had G-Spot orgasms OR even knew what it was.

So now I've come to this forum for help from folks who have beat or reversed this condition. I have a very loving wife who I care deeply about, and want to continue to pleasure her the way I used too, for as long as I'm able.

Thanks for reading my story...HalfBent

Hello HalfBent,

Welcome to the forum and please see the message I sent to you with helpful links to the site  :)

The key to this disease is treatment and having a urologist that specializes in Peyronies disease (not all do) the email I sent to you has a list of those who specialize in this disease. The disease itself can be taxing on you the sufferer and the spouse/partner so if you both know that it is half the battle. Having a partner that is supportive to you is a great help in living with this disease.

You didn't mention if you were taking any medications for the Peyronies, this is key early on in the disease, if you aren't then seeing a specialist should be done as soon as possible so that you can start treatment. Waiting is the worst thing you can do and unfortunately many regular urologists will tell patients "its not that bad" or "you'll be fine" and the patient goes untreated.

My suggestion is to seek a good urologist and start visiting the forum boards, they are broken down into topics I would suggest at this point the oral meds board, VED and Traction board, and the Survivors Guide <-- (this is in my msg to you, very good resource)

You will be getting responses to this post from members of the forum they will all be very helpful, this is a great group to be a part of.

If you have any questions please ask
