New member questions about Pentox

Hello,  I'm 30 years old- started noticing symptoms 3-4 months ago; diagnosed about a month ago

When flaccid and especially when semi-erect there is a significant hourglass shape and tilt to the right with the head of my penis from the hourglass.  This has gotten worse over the last 1-2 months.  Thankfully, when fully erect I have a pretty strong and straight erection as my penis "fills in".  However, I definitely have issues with early ejaculation and especially losing an erection quickly at times which I didn't use to.

A few questions about Pentox as I just was prescribed it after asking.  I started taking it yesterday.  I've read I hopefully should see some improvement with the hourglass shape and erection quality, possibly with the plaque itself.  Just wanted to hear some personal experiences especially with those with the hourglass symptoms.

Some questions- I've had a bit of a racing heart when taking it- I am somewhat sensitive to caffiene.  It feels like I've had a soda or something.
I had been taking Maca Root/horny goat weed the last 2-3 months to help with erections.  Can I/should I take this during Pentox?  I've suspeneded it for now.  I do think it helped to a degree.

How long does it take to notice any significant effects from Pentox?

What did Pentox help/not help you with?

I used Pentox, 3*400 mg per day fro 18 months together with low dose Cialis and VED.
Had 3 hourglasses disappeared and the plaques softened, no improvement in bend, and curve.
Take always with meal, not later than 6:00 PM

Thanks for your input.  Did Pentox help erection strength and control at all?

Also, do you think it is safe taking maca root/horny goat weed at the same time?  I'd assume as its supposed to be a 'natural' Cialis etc.  Just was curious because my doctor didn't reply back.  I am somewhat sensitive to caffeine.

After reading the reports regarding the content of the supplement capsules from respectful manufacturers in respectful supermarkets (filled with grass and dangerous substances) my answer about maca root/horny goat weed is I don't know.
I can't know if pentox:

help erection strength and control

as it was part of the treatment.

Hi Neahcrow,
As far as I can tell it seems ok to take HGW, Maca and Cialis at the same time, I'm fairly sure that the HGW and Maca have helped with my libido.

I'm just a bit concerned because Pentox has been kicking my ass a bit this first week taking it.  Racing heart, irritability, slight blurred vision once or twice.  Thankfully no stomach problems.  I'm sensitive to medications and to caffeine- would drink soda when I was younger, never never energy drinks.  

When I took Horny Goat Weed it amped me up a bit too so I didn't know if the combination would be good- would asking for low dose Cialis be a better combination with Pentox?

I think my Peyronie's must have come from having sex without a proper erection.  Earlier in the year I was having trouble having sex with an ex-girlfriend.  I'm 90% sure my issues then were just anxiety and struggling with condom use after not having used them for a long time.  I never felt any pain but I figure it must have been cause by that.  However, I started taking Horny Goat weed around that time and wonder if that had anything to do with it?

I feel it has helped strengthen my drive a bit and erections- I'm not sure if its a placebo effect or not.  But I've read elsewhere where drs say Cialis or Viagra can CAUSE Peyronie's and I know Horny Goat Weed is kind of a natural Cialis.  

Its all so confusing and stressful.  My urologist "Peyronie's expert" was not helpful at all.  There is a recommended specialist in San Francisco but I don't know if my insurance covers it.  I don't have money to see him if it doesn't.

Again, my symptoms are a hourglass when flaccid and bend to the right.  Very significant when semi-erect as there is a bottleneck when trying to build an erection and then a significant bend to the right and a hollow ring around the bottom of my penis where the hourglass is.  When I do get a full erection, I can lose it much quicker than before, and not quite as much control as before although that seems to be getting better.

A week into Pentox and no change so far but I'm sure it takes awhile.  I have a 3 month prescription and was going to try to go that far or longer if I can withstand the side effects.  I'm guessing I should look into a VED now as well?

I'm guessing I'm about 4-6 months into the acute phase.

My opinion is yes.

Cialis or Viagra can CAUSE Peyronie's

I don't think so. But it may cause too long lasting erections, and this may cause Peyronies.
The leading Peyronies specialist prescribing Pentox with low dose Cialis as together they are working better to soften the plaques.
