An 17 year old boy from The Netherlands here who found this forum while browsing the web. Don't look at the spelling errors please.

Last week I had an appointment with an urologist in the hospital because my doctor send me there.

It is quite embarrasing so I will spare you the details. My penis is in a curve (or bend) of 60 to 70 degrees to the left. The urologist concluded that it was not peyronie but a defect to my penis. On of the corpus cavernosum (I think he said that) read: the blood vessels that make your penis hard was not fully developed. That is what is causing the curve.

Why am I here then if it is not Peyronie? This is the forum that comes closest to my problem and because the solution the urologist gave me was the same as people with peyronie.

I could go for the a Nesbitt operation or I could have a piece of material inserted on the left side inside my penis.

The urologist gave me some time to think about it because both operations tend to have some complications.

The Nesbitt operation could cause some bloodloss and lead to erectile dysfunction (took it from a English online dictionary) and not to mention shortning of the penis. Which the urologist assured me would not be such a problem in my case because I would still have around 13-14 cm of erection.

The other option he gave was insertion of a piece of material on the left side of the penis thus making the left side bigger.
But because the bloodvessel (or whatever it is) is shorter then the right one so I could also lead to erection problems.

I suppose everyone here has peyronie and not my problem but still I would like to know if there are people here that have it or know people that have it or perhaps even know a forum for people like me.

Or perhaps people who have had surgery and have chosen not to do a nesbitt but to have the inserting on one side and can tell me who they experiece it and if they had problems with erections.

Thanks for all your comments.

STOP! Before getting ANY surgery please get a second opinion!
Find the name of the surgery, and review the literature on it. Take your dear time before you have any penile surgery at your age. A trip through the forums will show you just how awful and horrific jumping to surgery can be.

Your post is the most insane and troubling thing I've heard in the last several years.

Not because you are wrong, but because I have always theorized that I do not have Peyronie's, but rather my issue is that my penile arteries and the vessels that branch off them are too short due to an abnormally high erection as a kid and perhaps sleeping on my stomach. This has been one of my theories for a while.

It scares me because, if this is true, there is no known medical way to treat it. I also find it very odd that if this is a real cause of curvature, why have urologists not seen it before?

I urge you to see a true Peyronie's specialist but sadly I know there aren't any in your entire country that I'm aware of (someone correct me immediately if I'm wrong).

I think you should see someone who will give you an ultrasound and really look at what is causing the bending. If there is a specialist in a nearby country even going there would be worth it. I wonder if anyone knows a top specialist around the Netherlands?

DESPITE my "theories", there is a massive chance that your vessels are scars, or that you have scarring but it's not palpable or visible.

Don't worry about the spelling errors, many of us are not native English speaking.  :)
I am not happy to read your post as again in my opinion the doctors around are really with no knowledge and empathy.
But I am happy that NeoV answered you first, as he is 27 year old, much closer to your age than me at 67 (Maybe in the age of your grandfather?).
First, I will second NeoV and sadly we don't have in Europe too many Peyronies specialists or doctors that can deal with congenital curvature and other serious penis related issues.
The only real expert we know in Europe, from the reports of our forum members is Dr. Kuehhas. He is from Austria and shares his time between Austria and the UK. He will be the best to give you a diagnosis and to tell you what are your options.
I am advising you to write him an email detailing as much as you can your situation. I wrote him in the past and got answers to all my questions, via his secretary.
I am also strongly advising you to put your parents in the picture as you are just 17 year old and I suppose you can not finance yet yourself. I don't know the relations between you and your parents, but it is must to be done, as every decision it will affect your future.
Also advising you not to be in panic and take a decision under pressure. You are young and all the future is in front of you so you have to take the right decision.
Dr. Kuehhas information is here:
ACPCT Center - Treatment of Curved and Bent Penis
Read the website to understand what they are talking about (you have a lot of information on the subject, including Dr. Kuehhas on our forum also).

Guys,
I think what he is describing is neither Peyronies nor congenital curvature. What his doctor describes is an actual deformity of the corpus cavernosum. So it is possible that surgery is his only option.

Xandor,
Can you confirm if you penis has always been this way? And if so then surgery might be your only choice. And believe me I am a strong supporter that surgery is only ever a last resort (when not other choice). But I still think it wise to get a second opinion just to have a reference from another doctor. No one doctor know everything or or knows how to fix everything.
