Hello all fellow travelers,

I discovered that I have Peyronies about 6 weeks ago, while researching I found this site after visiting the WebMD and Mayo Clinic sites.

I have to say I learned more here in one day than all the other sites combined.

I started treatment based on WebMD suggested supplements, Acetyl L-Carnitne, Cator Oil and MSM. Reading the suggestions here I added L-Arginine, I have CO Q-10 and the Vitality One Tube VED on the way.

When I use the Castor Oil I add Arnica in the form of a gel to help as a trans-dermal carrier. I chose Arnica based on its efficacy on painful muscles and bruises (hematoma) from thin skin due to my years (67).  Arnica gel is quickly absorbed and makes a quarter sized bruise disappear in about 3 days with with repeated applications. I felt it might be a safe alternative to DMSO and might also help in healing.

I am happy to say that I have already seen some modest improvement, the bottle neck has disappeared, but the curvature hasn't responded so far as I can tell. I can't pin down which element of the treatment has made the most difference, but there is a difference, just hoping that it continues to improve without setback.

I will commence use of the VED in few more days implementing the suggested regime given here at PDS.

Thanks to all

Leland

It is a self assessment or you was diagnosed by an urologist?
By the way, CoQ10 efficacy is very low at 67, you should switch to Ubiquinol. Much more expensive, but the point is that our body is transforming CoQ10 to Ubiquinol and the conversion efficiency is low or non existent after the age of 40.

Age 71, Peyronies from Jan 2009 following penis fracture during sex. Severe ED.
Lost 2" length and a lot of girth. Late start, still VED, Cialis & Pentox helped. Prostate surgery 2014.
Got amazing support on the forum

Great to hear you're seeing improvement. Not might be best to see a specialist still. Let us know how your treatment continues! Welcome to the boards.

Thanks for the reply and advice James and NeoV.

I am setting up a physical with my GP and will discuss it with him and ask for a urologist referral and a script for Cialis (Tadalafil).

I went down the list of Dr.s here that have a background in Peyronies in Houston, there a just couple as I remember, I will probably go with the one at The Baylor School of Medicine.

On the Co Q10, I actually ordered that before I read the survival guide here which states after 40 consider Ubiquinol, I will order Ubiquinol and donate Q10 to my daughter.
