Hello Forum,

I thought I had an appointment with Dr. Lue at USF but apparently my health care doesn't cover that and I am instead booked at the General Hospital. Below is a link to there faculty. I am wondering if anyone has any experience with these people and suggestions etc... I may reach out to get a better insurance to see mr lue.

Thanks

Dr Lue at UCSF is the Peyronie's expert, the others are NOT.  Not sure I would potentially waste my time on SF General.  It is decidedly not a typical teaching hospital and you would be unlikely to find anything exceptional there.  UCSF on the other hand is a premier hospital that is exceptional across the board.  I lived in San Francisco for 25 years and to be honest with you, I wouldn't be caught dead at SF General.  Just my personal opinion of course.  You would be better off seeing Grober in Toronto, I have no doubt about that.  You might want to check and see if your insurance would cover that.  He works with Dr Lue and follows many of Dr Lue's protocols.

SF General is a crappy  place but that's where I went first. The doctor there put me on Pentox. Don't remember the doctor's name. That was the extent of my experience at that place.

As a Canadian I have no idea about what type of health care/insurance I need to check ucsf. Can y'all recommend one?
If not ill talk with my doc!

I am sure if you call Dr Lue's office, they will be able to tell you what insurances they accept.  That information may even be available on the UCSF website.
