Hello everyone...RT here and I'm a newbie. I'm a 48 y/o diagnosed in June 2012.  Over 30%...maybe 40...to the left.  My urologist has me coming back every 6 mos for check ups.  It doesn't seem to be getting much worse but it is brutal and is affecting me big time. I'm happily married and have been for over 26 yrs. My wife is very supportive.

I hope to learn what I can do through this forum to perhaps improve it slightly before I go down the road of the other options (injections, nesbit, etc). I'm particularly interested in diet, supplements, etc., that may help.

Take care,

RT

Welcome!

I'm pretty new here too but the main thing to do is get a doctor to prescribe you pentox.  It's the best line of defense against the progression of the disease.  Other supplement info you can find here:

Check out the sections on VED and traction devices also.  The forum's pretty easy to navigate you should find them quickly

You may tell us some more details regarding your symptoms that we can understand better your situation.
The approach of your uro seems wrong to me if his only "treatment" is 6 months followup!!!

Welcome to the forum :)
