I was diagnosed about 8 months ago, but I was having scarring about 18 months ago. My urologist was seeing me for prostate issues and suggested my ising vitamin E. I don't think he wanted to do anything because I was still in the acute phase. Since then he prescribed 5mg cialis daily.

My plaque and curve are so bad that my love life is very diminished. My wife is pretty upset at the urologist, but she is supportive of me. I hope it is not too late for me to receive some of the benefits from information posted here.

describe your scaring is it on the skin or under the skin. Mid shaft or where on your penis? Is it on a narrowing area of the shaft?

The scarring in on the dorsal side. There are 2 scars side by side, cylinder in shape, then 2 more smaller ones right at the glans. the area between the mid shaft scars and the glans scars is somewhat fibrous as well. I have a bend of about 70 degrees but no pain anymore.

You have to find an other doctor. In the acute stage the treatments can help faster than in the stable stage. Your uro may be a good uro but he don't understand in Peyronies.

Read the forum to understand what other people treatment is , mine will be:
Pentox 400mg (twice or three times daily)
Cialis 5mg (or 2.5mg if you don't have ED problems)
Ubiquinol (or CoQ10) 100mg (twice daily)
L-Arginine 1000mg daily

update
No change in two years. A pyronies specialist recommended implant surgery, but my insurance denied the procedure. I am considering a vacuum device.

What treatments have you tried in those two years?
This is an emotionally destructive condition, we all have it, let's be nice to each other.
