I just got a RestoreX and I'm really disappointed. The instructions say that moving the extension rods should make the white lines disappear, but on my device they don't move at all. It seems like something is wrong, because no matter what I try, the lines stay there.

From what I understand, after unlocking you shouldn't see the white lines if you're in proper traction. If they're still visible, you're supposed to release the extension rods. But when I do that, nothing happens—the white lines don't move.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? Is it a defect with my device or am I missing something?

Did you purchase it from the manufacturer? They will replace it or repair the part that is broken. If not I know that you can just purchase the spring traction center alone.

Are you using the blue tab underneath at the base of the device to make adjustments? You can unlock the tab, slide to another location on the rods and lock again. This will adjust the location of the device on the tension rods so that the white lines aren't visible. It also adjusts the strength of the tension once you squeeze to release it (click it) after you have secured your penis in the device.
