Hey guys,

First time poster here. I was diagnosed with Peyronies Disease after having a penile doppler exam where I was administered Trimix, and got diagnosed by another urologist a month later. Been doing traction for over 8 months now. On top of having Peyronies Disease, I've also been dealing with Hard Flaccid. During traction sessions I've noticed some variability — sometimes I really have to loosen things up first with a warm sock before clamping, and other times my penis feels more rigid and stretches well. Other times it feels more plump and able to "inflate" much better.

I'm currently on 5mg of Cialis daily, and I've found that traction on Cialis feels a bit smoother overall. I don't recall experiencing pain while doing traction, but I want to make sure I'm maximizing the benefit of these sessions without risking more damage.

Has anyone else experienced this combination of Peyronies Disease and Hard Flaccid while doing traction? Any tips or advice on how to optimize sessions or avoid setbacks would be greatly appreciated!

You will come to learn that there isnt really an exact science to this traction thing. There is barely any real user evidence that it works without the addition of Xiaflex either.

That being said, as someone who gets hard flaccid type symptoms, I have found that only doing traction after a heatpad session or hot shower works best. Attempting when cold is never comfortable.

If you are using a Restorex, I have also found that it's better to attach the clamp to the head of your penis while it is disconnected from the rest of the device first. Then clip it in place after.

You are already takin the correct medication so the only other thing you can really do is experiment with what works for you. Some guys are favour more gradual stretching where is others are able to be more aggressive with it. Just listen to your body I guess. If you ever get sharp, intense pain, probably wise to ease off.

UKguy1234: there is evidence that traction works without xiaflex. https://malefertilityandpeyroniesclinic.com/2020/12/summary-of-outcomes-of-a-novel-penile-traction-device-restorex-in-men-with-peyronies-disease-a-randomized-single-blinded-controlled-trial/

But I get what you are saying with that comment. Dr Trost has a lot more resources and medical papers on his website regarding the matter.

Yup, I'm aware. There are plenty of "studies" but they are much harder to relate to for the average guy. Photo Evidence of real-life results is far more encouraging in my opinion and even on here, the largest forum for Peyronies, there aren't any. None that are significant enough to correspond with what the studies claim anyway.

The members here would have no reason to lie or say something false. Some just don't want to post pictures of their penises. Like I say the proof is in the pudding and the eating.

That has been by decision of the staff team in past. Threading a fine line in between sharing pictures of your penis and it becoming gratuitous in a way. But I agree with you. Pictures are worth a thousand words. I tried to encourage members throughout the years to share pictures of their condition or progress and not all want to. But it's not true that There are no progress pictures online. Bentknob is a perfect example of it.

Bentknob is the only example and its still not representative of what the studies suggest. Not to mention, he did have xiaflex aswell.

Just want to say my reasoning for sharing pictures.

I want as much help as possible from this community in treating my peyronies disease.

It's give and take. I find other people documenting their progress and sharing pictures to be very helpful and encouraging. I hope others find my experience useful.

I personally don't see the problem in sharing pictures of my penis. It's a penis. Who cares.

I've been to group parties and gatherings so I've seen it all.

I similarly find viewing and sharing photos useful and makes way more sense to me than trawling through walls of text, seeing people attempt to describe (with wildly varying degrees of accuracy) what's going on.

On top of that, it's the context that matters. It isn't remotely sexual. It's to help motivate each other to battle an incredibly rare disease, on an incredibly niche forum...and we are all anonymous anyway.

Literally who cares? Why be prude about it?

This isn't linked-in lol
