Morning wood?

Ok, I am 10 days after IPP and this morning I woke up with an erection ??    
I was really WASNT expecting that, but pleasantly surprised. I have heard that certain erectile tissue is/can be left intact after IPP but I didn't expect there to be enough to give me an erection? Anyone else experience this? and yes, I am fully deflated, haven't started cycling yet, doctor won't allow that till 4 weeks, although I think I'll be ready in 3 weeks based on my healing progress overall. Has anyone started cycling on their own without doctors consent?
