Erect Ultrasound Question

Don't know is this is the correct place to ask this question.
 Dr explained the basics of the erect ultrasound.  Just wondering from  guys that have experience it what happens during the test?

They gave me trimix and asked to massage to spread the medicine for a few minutes and walked away. Mixed message probably on purpose but should have said stimulate yourself so you would get hard.

I only got about 80% hard. Tech said it was enough for the ultrasound but the true bending state was not fully evident. She had me stand up and used my phone to take pics afterward.

I have taken erect pics from different angles just before the next set of injections so the Dr could see the changes and the worst bends. Some Drs want an extra visit to give trimix to see the current state before the next injection. Doing it yourself alleviates the extra visit. Anyway, it gives you a record.

Personally, I laid on my back and used a ruler to see how much the penis extended with the bend so I could record the straightening before the 1st treatment and just before each successive treatment.

I also put dates on the pics and sorted them so the Dr could see the changes over time.

Only other thing to add is you are done in 30 minutes and my erection had subsided to 50% or less. Loose pants and tshirt....nobody knows.

What Randyzon stated is correct. The ultrasound will also show the blood flow whether it is good or not. Plaques can sometimes be difficult to see. An erect ultrasound though is what is preferred.

Just trying to figure out what to expect.  Not a lot of information on the internet on the test.

Had my ultrasound yesterday.....I survived....lol
Wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Erection shot was not bad at all.I had the same ultrasound gal I have had many times with my  kidney stones.
So I have plaque 45° upward bend.
Dr was really good with all the questions I had.  Talked about the different options I have. Talked about the Xiaflex shots. So now I have to decide what the next step to do

Very good! Now you have some information and need to make a judgement call as to what to do next. Xiaflex, traction, VED..... If Xiaflex then what DR?
