*** Maybe this goes without saying but I'm going to speak frankly about sex so turn back now if that's not your bag ***

I received a Peyronies diagnosis a few years ago after having repeatedly experienced intense pain in my penis after sex and discovering two lentil sized lumps along the shaft.

Since my diagnosis, I've been taking vitamin E supplements and about a year ago found that the pain had subsided and could no longer feel any lumps. I'm not sure if that's related to the vitamin E supplements or something else, but either way it had been a huge relief.

Unfortunately I had recurrence of intense pain during sex last night, while my partner was on top. I didn't tell her until we had finished but we changed to a position where I was entering from behind and could better control the depth. Afterwards I put ice on my privates and the pain mostly subsided, but I still feel it 13 hours later.

So this brings me to my question: should girl-on-top be off limits to prevent further plaque buildup? Her full body weight may be putting too much pressure on my penis, bending it and squashing it into my pelvis, as opposed to other positions where I'm in control. We really enjoy the intimacy of girl-on-top and it gives my partner depth control, which is helpful because we've struggled with a length/depth disparity, but if it means more pain and possibly disfigurement then obviously we'll need to adjust.

Do you only have a curve or do you have ED as well?

Generally speaking, for people with peyronies, girl on top should be avoided, and even more so if you do not get the rock solid erections you used to prior to your diagnose. One should be careful in other positions as well but girl on top definitely is the most risky.
30 years. Sudden rightwards curve detected in June 2020
Narrowing on right side and about a 20° curve to the right.
ED + instability due to narrowing.

It curves to the left slightly but
it's been that way forever. I've had occasional ED issues and I take viagra so my erections are pretty strong.

Is there anything I should do to prevent the condition from getting worse besides avoiding certain positions? Should I look into a traction device or vacuum pump?

The risk with cowgirl position, is that you don't have much control over depth. And injury can occur if you slip out and ram her pubic bone trying to get back in. The ramming action can cause your erection to buckle which can cause the peyronies injury.

My wife and I have avoided this position at all costs since contracting this in 2007. We find other fun positions.  ;D
