Too early to consider implant?

Hi all. I'm looking for advice on whether or not I should begin looking for a surgeon for a penile implant despite currently having full sexual function.

I have an hourglass deformity that has slowly progressed over the past 6 months (also have dupytren disease) it was only visible semi erect, now when flaccid, still gone when erect, I have no curve.

Research is hard to come by but I've gathered three things I think are true
1. Dups and hourglass are both reliable predictors of a long (or eternally) progressing case
2. Outcomes are reliable worse for hourglass deformity and patients with DD
3. There has never been an anecdote or case study of maintained sexual function without surgery for an hourglass patient

Given this, should I be pushing my urologist toward surgery earlier rather than later. I've never felt any urologist was very well informed about the disease in general so I feel like I need to advocate a lot in my treatment.

Am I getting ahead of my self? Would love to hear from hourglass or DD suffers who have had the implant.

In my research
Symptoms started May 27 2024. Hourglass (only semi erect) narrowing, one inch lost. Diagnosed June 20th Dr. Zbraki

I think if me, I would wait

We tend to think worse of ourselves than reality.
