Traction and Erection Strength

Hi All,
I know I've read it anecdotally, but have not found a thread on this. Can someone explain if/how traction supposedly helps your erection strength? I am thinking of trying to start it up again. I was also too inflamed to do it until recently but wanted to know, did traction help your erection strength? And if it did, do we know why or how?
