The PENUMA implant seems too good to be true: FDA-approved, great reviews, impressive photos and they even claim it may correct mild curvature!

It's not for me, though: I am terrified of surgeries and I believe you have to be circumcised.

Any thoughts on this?

Be sure to research, lots of patient horror stories from what I recall...

Do not do it. That doctor is a butcher. You're better off doing a VED regimen.

Thank you for your replies, guys.

No, I'm not even considering it. Any kind of surgical procedure or even needles terrify me.

There is a YouTube of an entire Penuma procedure, that stuff is SCARY!

The simple fact we all have opinions. I agree with jan if he has no real peyronies issues and from what he says he does not. An implant is not his option. His peyronies is not bad in comparison to others on here.

Hypothetically, though if he gets the xiaflex injections it causes more trauma to his penis and it bends even more and he wants to live with that. I respect that. He obviously knows an implant will fix it but would choose not to get one for his own reasons.

4 docs I talked to. all urologist surgeons would not recommend the xiaflex injections for me. I already had a lot of trauma to my penis. Sticking more needles into it would not be beneficial.

Not sure why, but from my research they would get a lot of money from my insurance if they injected my penis in their office. Most all the funds would go to them instead of the hospital. They get a lot from those injections. Not accusing anyone but that is a fact.

For an implant. They get nothing from the hospital. Nothing from the implant. Just a surgeon fee. My doc on revision got 400 bucks. Xiaflex, they get tons more money. Why in my case did not one recommend it. Not sure. Every one of the 4 said I should just get the implant. Fix it once and for all. No issues, period. The last doc I saw actually did any tests on me. Doc 4. Not 1, 2 ,or 3. Doc 1, 2, and 3, looking at my peyronies said a titan will fix it. No more issues period. I chose to keep seeing a new doc. I wanted answers.

Doc 4 did tests. Severe venous leaks. Viagra would never help me. From day one I should have gotten implant. All the other stuff hurt me from day 1 and made my ed worse. Broke my dick having sex with a semi on viagra.

I do hope if jan gets worse and an implant is his only option for a hard penis he comes back on and let's us know. I hope it never happens though for him. An implant is a great option but a last one. For me as well. When all else fails or your only first option, take it. It works.

What I can say, and from other stories on here. Make your decisions, try your options. If it works great. If not and peyronies in whatever stage you have it still aggravates you to do something.

An implant works pretty damn well.

This sums it up quite nicely, excellent comment. And 'trauma' is the key word here.

I'm pretty sure my curvature was caused by masturbation when I was a teenager, I feel really stupid about it. :( :( :(  I don't know if it's Peyronies Disease or not but I'm convinced it was caused by trauma. Today I hate masturbation with a passion and I haven't done it in years.

My theory: I'm guessing that Peyronies Disease is so prevalent today because men want to imitate the crap they see in porn movies. Guess what, the dick is not made of iron, it is a fragile structure.

It's the  21st century, doctors have been using shock waves to break kidney stones for years but they still haven't come up with a decent treatment for this sh**!
