I don't understand, why urologists in all cases trying to offer the implant? Is it the only option? Is it the solution? Implant is for severe erectile dysfunction and probably for deformation. My case is that I don't feel my member as I lost sensation (numbness) due to the old injury. So, Implant will not bring my lost sensation back - it is not a solution for me.  Why those doctors don't understand this case. I need something like a cure-regeneration for sensation, especially for all men who had penile injury. So, I want to say to doctors to stop offering the implant in all cases - every case is individual! Better do your job well - try to find a real cure for sensation/sensitivity!

I agree with you. The Urologists don't care because is not their penises, is yours. Also, they only care about money and the implant is the way to go to get the money

Many docs do care and several don't even do implants.  That said, you do need to look carefully to find the best docs.

Bud Luck, Thanks for responding to my message. By the way, I have read all your posts and sorry to hear about your troubles and your experience with unprofessional doctors. So, did you try specialists like Dr Tom Lue or Dr Eid!? By the way, you right that the medicine is not interested in treating us and cure research as people prefer not to talk about their genital's secrets and no financial support, so probably we need to talk with NY Times or BBC to tell our anonymous stories and shame these lazy doctors, sounds naive, but maybe after that they will try to search a suitable cure for all of us. Wilson, could you afford a telehealth consult w Dr Eid or maybe Dr Karpman to ask about all treatment options-letting him know you are not wanting an implant?

TonySa, Actually, I wrote to Dr. Eid today and asked him to give me an e-mail of his staff to discuss my further appointment. Hope, he will give me an email as I need to talk with them about invitation documents for american visa etc. I know, it's very hard and long to get american visa as you need to prove that you are "cool person" etc. But, Will Try.
