Hello everyone,

I am 23 and what caused Peyronies Disease in my case was most likely the combination of an unhealthy lifestyle (excessive smoking, no exercising at all, stress, depressed moods) and forceful masturbation. 2 months ago I noticed a 20-25° bent to the right from the middle of my flaccid penis but didnt inquire further. I forgot about it and continued to live an unhealthy live and to masturbate forcefully. Eventually, after 2-3 weeks, the same bent that was initially only discernible in a flaccid state also appeared whenever my penis became erect.
I have no pain and no plaques and thus my focus is on doing everything to get rid of this bend. I started jogging, playing soccer, eating natural foods, etc. and feel like this can really heal the damage I did to my penis.

Do you guys think it is necessary for me to do traction? I ask because I feel like if I stop touching my penis for a year and live a healthy live (sports, food, mentality) the damage in my penis will heal again. On the other hand it would be regretful to miss out on a possible 'cure', even more since I heard that traction is helpful mainly in the acute phase.

I actually started manual traction a week ago and ever since I have a feeling that my penis got much more thinner. But I could be wrong since my flaccid penis does mainly or even only looks like that when I have to urinate and thus this could equally just be another symptom of Peyronies Disease. Has anyone experience with this? Also, whenever I need to urinate my penis not only becomes thin, but at the spot opposite of the area where my penis bends to the right appears a dent. What is the explanation for this phenomenon? And again, should I continue with manual traction and if so why?

Hello,
Left untreated only 3-13% of Peyronie's sufferers  spontaneously self cure. With those odds. Most opt for treatment.

Manual/device traction always take time before symptoms start to subside.

In my opinion continue manual traction for 3 months. See if it helps. If not move onto a traction devices. Read about traction devices on this site. Definitely see a doctor. My doctor put me on potaba. I'v no doubt it has prevented symptoms from worsening.

Start taking oral treatments. Salidafil is a major one. You can get more info from this site.

Am afraid dents and bends are typical Peyronie's symptoms, but they very often reduce to normal, or to a fraction of what they once were.

Worse case scenario. You have to have surgery, but that's years away. Definitely go with traction most people cure that way. Judging from posts on this site.

Keep eating healthy.

Youll get through it. Just be patient.

Latest routine. Started l-lysine 3mg daily, l-proline 5mg daily. Increased vit c intake. Accompanied with almost daily vacuum therapy. Pumping to 100% Exercise caution! Made good progress. L arginine supplements and prescribed potaba are helping.
