Shafted

I'm 30 years old and 3 months into this god awful disease.  I have found the worst part of this disease is the psychological impact.  Some days are good and others I have severe depression.

This all started after somewhat rough sex with my wife.  I noticed a single nodule on the top of my shaft and after 3 months I now have 5 large plaques all approximately the same distance from the base of my penis.  My curve is upward and to the left and I have extreme pain while erect.  To top it off, my erections are not as rigid as they were before Peyronies Disease and when I get close to a full erection, I see the curvature and immediately go flaccid.  It's like I have a psychological barrier I can't overcome and as a result I can't achieve full rigidity.

I purchased a Restorex device and have been using it for several weeks now, but have not had any improvement in curvature or pain.  Though, traction may be mitigating the severity of the condition.  I am hopeful as I continue to use traction, my condition will improve.  At this point, I just need a psychological victory.

Congrats on taking early action.  You may very well have stopped the progress in its tracks.  See that as progress and hand in there w the traction.  Possibly add pentox, & low dose nightly pde5i.  Check out the survival guide here if you haven't.

I felt a lot better when I realized I can do something to solve it.
Surely a big challenge emotionally but also dealing with it makes one grow in character.
Patience and discipline is needed cause progress is sadly slow. I would add transdermal application to your traction. When I noticed the plaque getting softer it made me optimistic. (still took many months to get better)

Surely it kills the mood for an erection when you have pain and the bend but the cause isn't psychological, it's physical, a plaque literally interfering with the tissue of the penis trying to get erect. Don't beat yourself up. Focus on getting better. Only way..
