I'm 55, sudden onset of Peyronies Disease about six months ago which was confirmed by urologist last month. 35 degree upward upon erection, painful no doubt about it, difficulty with sex and night time urination, significant flaccid shrinking.  Dr said he does not see any real results with drug therapy and surgery has a 50 / 50 chance for correcting the curve and he added surgery could make the situation much worse.  I would add, I also have been diagnosed with Dupuytren's affecting my hand.  Dr said the two are often seen together.
What are the chances of this clearing up on its own?

Thanks for any information,

if you go and search peyronies and go through pages and pages of websites of peyronies from what iv seen its about a 10-13% chance to have "spontaneous healing" of peyronies disease. if u click the link to the right of the log out thing where it says PDS WEBSITE and click on the part that says treatment options it says 5-15% chance "Results are further confused because an estimated 5% to 15% pf Peyronies Disease patients experience a spontaneous resolution of the disease without treatment". iv even seen 20% before website and one that said it goes away often on a non commercial website but that was deep in the pages of the search on peyronies.

im not sure about dupuytren's though
