I came across this forum a few weeks ago looking for answers to some questions. It has proven to be quite helpful thus far. I currently have about a 45 degree ventral congenital curvature. For some time, I knew I was different but I didn't know something could be done about it.

I live in Southern California. I'm 40 years old and married with 2 stepsons. Intercourse can be uncomfortable at times for me and sometimes painful for my wife.

After reading the experiences of users on this site, as well as other research, I've decided to have corrective surgery. I have seen Dr. Gelman at UCI Medical Center and my surgery is scheduled for this Thursday.

Because I found the information very helpful here, I will chronologize my surgery and recovery so that I may help others as it has helped me.
