hi to everyone affected by this strange and cruel disease,..i am a sufferer for 3 years now ,half of which i had very subtle symptoms but in the last year or so my old friend has become a constant surprise in its shape and performance, or lack of it...i will come to that later i am 48 years old, from the uk, in sound health etc,,firstly i would like to publicly thank my partner for her support and understanding thru this nightmare, without it things would have bee different, to all you ladies out there reading this, i admire you and keep up the support!!! my penis has a virtual 90 degree to the left bend when erect..has shrunk to half its size, has a bottleneck hinge in the centre, is semi erect above the hinge, and is a struggle to perform with, we manage but the proces is humiliating, but we get by..i am as of tomorrow having a pre op assessment..before having a penis pump fitted, its the only option i have as i have no sexual quality whatsoever ...and it seems viable...Can anyone give me any clues as to the after results please...i promise to give full and frank details of the procedure on here to inform others in my position...im expecting the operation before xmas so fingers crossed..any questions..let me know guys...hope to hear from you soon...cheers and chins up....ray67

Your condition right now is very complicated. But don't you want to try conservative treatment before? Pills, vacuum erection device, traction?

Where are you planning to go for surgery ? I had a 90-100 degree bend which I had surgery on 5 weeks ago, if you look in the photo section you can find my photos. So far I am very pleased with the results

I was advising you to see Dr. Kuehass

James

Got amazing support on the forum

OP, can you give a few more details of the disease progression and the possible cause(s)?

Dr. Kuehass is the man who carried out my surgery, to say I was S***ing myself is an understatement. This man is the 'go to ' man in the UK. The aftercare is as important as the surgery itself.

Not cheap I ll agree but for me it was cash well spent.

hi steveo,
initially around 3 years ago i noticed my erect penis wasnt quite as long as it was before..along with a narrowing in the centre..as if a jubilee clip had been tightened around it..i have since learned that this is ''hinging''...since then its gradually bent ninety degrees, to the leftt scarring tissue inside, became more obvious to touch, and has developed a sinewy long thin strand throughout the length, ..i have no idea how ive got this, been told its micro traumas over time...never knew i could damage it, never thought i had to be careful how i used it, so maybe vigourous sex, and all the bonkers stuff ive done have contributed to its demise, not sure...i can hardly use it now and struggle to maintain an erection, i hate looking at it, its like its not mine anymore
