Hello everybody:

I´ve just register in th forum, but I´ve been reading and learning here a lot for the last months.

I´ve peyronie about 40% degrees for about one year and a half. My actual uro is not specially usefull, and actually I am thinking of changing for another, but probably, until Xiapex (Xiaflex) wont be authorized, the situation won´t change too much.

Problems? The same as all here, and specially for a single man, you know what I mean....

Best regards, and thanks for this forum.

Arrecife.

Welcome to the group no man wants to be in.  Definitely find you a Peyronie's aware physician.

Hello, and welcome! we have another member from Spain, that joined recently. Maybe he can help you out more. I only know of one doctor, from Barcelona that seems to have interest on this, but i don't know his reputation.

Also, in Portugal the situation regarding doctors and Peyronies is not much better, and i only know of one doctor with interest in Peyronies itself...

loloc

Regarding to spanish newbies talking about xiaflex. Lately two spanish "newbies" who had one or any posts sent me many private messages with the name of a doctor in Madrid called Martinez Salamanca who administrates xiaflex, and also gave me a mobile number, without me having asked for it.
Usually, when a doctor does his job well earns reputation by itself in a hospital or clinicum and the patients come to him because of the reputation, when they are looking for it, and there's nobody sending you the contact number and web link without you having asked for it.

Just a remark.

Hi Arrecife,

I can give you a couple of doctor contacts who proposed me Xiapex in Madrid, including the one is mentioning loloc. The doctor in Barcelona that pfract mentions is offering the treatment as well in Barnaclinic.

On the line of loloc, as a disclosure, I must say that I don't have any other reference regarding their performance/records on Xiapex, just the fact that they proposed me the treatment and they were recommended to me by my head doctor. I'm looking forward starting the treatment on the following weeks but not yet confirmed.

Hi:

Thanks for your welcome and answers.

Please, if you have any contact here in Spain, please send me a message. I contact Barnaclinic some time ago, and the answer they gave me, didn´t give me good feeling. Dr. Martinez Salamanca looks ok, maybe I´ll contact him.

But, how is ti possible to use Xiapex if it is not aproved yet?

Thanks again.

Pfract

Arrecife: could you please explain, why you didn'y like their answer (barnaclinic)?

Arrecife

Hi pfract:

They said only one shot, and 24 hours later they will remove tissue. And thats all...

Very easy, and finished in 24 hours. The cost was less tan 2.000€.

In my opinión, they don´t know what I was asking for, and I thought that treatment is not so easy, unfortunately.

That´s my opinión, maybe I am wrong, but I decided not to continue asking information.

Pfract

:o i'm impressed. Normally, doctors from US recommend several injections, although not all of them in every cases here... tissue removal was like... "plaque excision surgery"?
