Hi i am new on hear and found this site after doing much research.
I am a very sexual 33 guy,  my gf and i would have sex everyday before problem. Since the age of 17 prob a month from no sex would be my biggest doubt. Also would masturbate quite a lot.
I am lucky to of had a very good sex life with many girls over my time so its kind of ironic it has happened to me. I am quite fit and no medical conditions that i know of. I used to be able to get very strong erections, the kind that are like concrete etc

So in the early months of this year i noticed a lump in left side of my shaft just below glands.
Did not take much notice of this. As made no difference sexually. I noticed one week around June that my penis hurt in the shaft during sex, i thought maybe had hurt it during sex and would go away. It did after a week or so. Then around July one day when masturbating i noticed my penis looked bent. Obviously i freaked out and then because of the mind games i couldnt get it hard to actually study it.
I went to a doc and showed him the lump and he just thought it was light trauma to the penis. Put me on cialis to help get over my mind games.
Was able to get quite hard and basically had a kink in my penis not a gradual bend but basically a kink. Sadly i was going OS the next day for two months so couldnt see any docs, Once back i went to a specialist, who diagnosed me with this disease. I am booked in with a specialist in this field in a few weeks as he is away.

My symptoms
My erection is still normal length if you bend it strait (7.5inch)
Has quite a pronounced dent on left side where the lump is.
Lump is rock hard
Has an hour glass kind of look, Looks a bit like an elastic band is around it.
However right side is pretty much perfect.
Bends or kinks up and to the left
Can still get rock hard and if bent strait a very strong erection but has a week spot on the kink
Can have sex no problems

My gf is very understanding and doesnt mind, i however feel a bit emasculated as i was once quite proud in the bedroom and now feel embarrassed and a bit silly i guess.
I dont mind the bend its more that its a week point, as in have to hold it during starting penetration but then its all good, just makes things awkward to start with.

What can i expect from here? Will it worsen or stabilize? I am very stressed about it as i have read that you can stop being able to get an erection etc.

Welcome to the forum. you will find much experience, help, and advice here.

As far as what to expect, no one here can answer that. You might stabilize right where you are now, or things could progress and get worse. What you can expect is lot of support from people on this forum. You should read up here on the various recommendations as far as what to do to help prevent things from getting any worse. There is no single answer for everyone as far as what to do, but at least here there are options, and people to talk to about your symptoms.

Thanks guys, it has been pretty difficult for me as gone from being a very proud guy in the b room to feeling kinda silly. Gf is very very good about it. Was at a party last weekend without her and thought what the hell would i do if i didnt have a gf, think i would have zero confidence with a new female right now. Good to know i am not the only one out there kwith this problem

You need to see a Urologist. One who specialises in Peyronie's. Ask for an ultrasound, this will determine the extent of the plaque and if any calcification has taken place.

Do not allow yourself to be fobbed off with Vit E. If this is Peyronie's, you need to start fighting it ASAP. You can find the most used and effective treatments on this site. Be aware that there is no guaranteed cure. However, stability and improvements can be made.

The last thing you want is for your condition to worsen. So, proactively start fighting it now.

Yea i first went to doc then he put me on to a penis doc, now he put me on to a specialist, aptly named Mr Love. Apparently one of the best in Melbourne. Had an ultra sound from the get go but i think they will be doing another with a differant style ultra sound :/ The lump is very hard so i would think its plaque. When they did ultra sound they said its only 2mm although feels much bigger

Just ordered some propolis and l-arginine, as few weeks until my appointment. Also strange thing i notice is that after sex my penis is slightly straighter!
I can manually straighten it and doesnt hurt, is like a strong erection again but once i let go it has its bend and week spot again

Jonbinspain

Ok. Firstly, read up on Citrulline malate. It's a better option, than l- Arginine. You will see why. If you can, get your Uro to prescribe Pentox. As to the curve, I would suggest a traction device, or VED or both. They will help both with blood flow to the penis, and hopefully, straightening the curve out a bit.

Do you guys have problems with the point of the curve also been a week spot?As in it easily folds at that point even when rest of penis is hard

james1947

Yes Dob, many of us experiencing exactly the same thing.
The place of the plaque (usually the bent there) is the week point.

Ok thanks, my bend is around or just under 30 degrees, but is annoying because i have to hold it to insert during intercourse. No pain etc during sex. I have read through the ved posts, do you guys recommend any ved devices?
I have been writing down all the info so when i see specialist i can quiz him over it all.
If i could even half the bend i would be fine, its more the week spot that gets me frustrated.

I feeling a lot more confident as the doc i was refered to is Dr Love who is Australia's best penile implant surgeon. Obviously i dont need this but he also specializes is managing peyronies disease.
I googled him and his page has pretty much all the things people on here talk about in the peyronies management section. So i feel a lot more confident knowing i am in good hands
