Hello all. I have just been to a consultant urologist and been diagnosed with peyronies. He said that there is no treatment and it will just have to run its course and may stabilise in 8-18 months. I am 50 years old and with a fabulous woman who has been alongside me all the way from first discovering a hard lesion in the shaft of my penis.
I am seeing my GP this week to discuss management of Peyronies and would like to hear what if any treatments have had any effect. I have read that Pentox and massage treatments to try and keep the plaques flexible may help? Has anyone had success with this?
I have only known of the plaque for a couple of months and I am not prepared to sit here and take no action/

All advice with be gratefully accepted.

Thanks for reading my post.

Hi Snips;
We don't like to welcome anybody to this particular club, but you've found the right place.

Blood supply to the penis is essential. Read up on Arginine, alc, and yes. Pentox will definitely help. You must act now, and find another Urologist This guy sounds like a complete waste of time.

Read all you can on this forum. There is a wealth of accumulated knowledge here, more than is possessed by many Urologists - such as the one you've just seen!

Anything else you need to know, just ask. One of the guys here will have an answer.

I will second Jonbinspain regarding treatment. You have to start as soon as you can.
I was just adding Ubiquinol, low dose Cialis and VED and/or traction
