Hi guys, I've been reading some of your posts and would like to say thanks to you all for sharing your stories.  I am 60+ years old and I woke up 1 morning with a 90 degree upwards bend and wondered WTF??? No pain, don't know how it happened but there it was.  I am married to a very understanding wife, thank God.  I jumped on the internet and did some quick searching and self diagnosed Peyronies Disease.  Made an appointment with a urologist and verified it.  So, I am starting my journey and will keep you appraised of my progress in the forums.  Again, thanks for being here, its helps to know there are others out there going through the same thing.

Litani

What did the Uro say?  What kind of treatments he suggested?
Care enough to throw everything you got at this disease but do not care enough to ruin your Life!

Sad- I'm 62 and there are many of our age bracket visiting the forum. Like Litani asked, what did the Uro say. What ever he says, be careful. Sounds like you have done some research, so take what he says in light of what the vets on this forum have found out.I am not one of them, but have found greater info here, then my Uro has. Plot a course and go for it. Regards Inkhorn

Uro said to start taking 400mg Pentox 3 times a day and get a traction device.  I am not really big into drug taking and after reading some of the posts here regarding Pentox I have decided not to take them.  Uro also recommended getting a traction device which I am going to try.  Ordered one a couple of days ago and just got notice it is in.  Felt like uro had standard treatment for everyone, did not ask about bend degree or anything, just prescribed pills and traction.

Your uro sound fine to me. He put you on Pentox and you are not taking it?
Pentox is the first line treatment for Peyronies, many of us struggling/struggled with doctors that don't want to prescribe it.
Regarding traction also he is updated.
I was adding Ubiquinol to the Pentox and low dose Cialis, but Pentox is really the MED.
By the way, how he decided that you have Peyronies?
