I hope I'm not double-posting - I submitted one post and then had to re-login - might have timed out.

I'm 51, and was told recently I may have Peyronie's based on a history and physical exam (no imaging).  I started having some painful nighttime erections about five months ago, and started noticing some changes in my penis about four months ago - now there are two small hardened areas which feel to be located at the distal ends of the tunicae.  I have been experiencing some mild ED, sometimes erections appear shorter than normal, and sexual function isn't what it used to be (less control, sometimes premature).

One urologist I saw didn't think it was Peyronie's because it was an "atypical presentation."  I visited another for a second opinion who made the aforementioned diagnosis.  He started me on 400mg Pentox twice daily, and gave me a prescription for 30 days of viagra 5mg, though his suggestion for that was to use it to help restore confidence (I have also had some stressful life changes resulting in depression and anxiety).  He made no other recommendations, but I'll probably follow up with him in about two months.

I've read other areas of the forum and might try a VED, though I wonder if this is recommended in what I'm assuming is the acute phase?  Also, if anyone can recommend a good Peyronie's specialist in the Seattle, WA are (or even the Pacific Northwest), I'd appreciate it.

Definitely start the daily VED exercise. I have posted the single cylinder exercise I used in the VED section. Any questions feel free to ask or send me a PM.   While you are in the acute phase continue the pentox and daily Viagra or Cialis, along with the VED.  

There are no great peyronies doctors I know of in the North East.  Once your peyronies stabilizes you most likely will have travel to the south east for one of the really great ones.
