Due to insane circumstances, I have gone 2 years without getting erections.  It was a variety of health issues centered in the pelvic floor and rectal region that caused me to not master bate, I had no urges and everything was painful in that area. I also had a disrupted sleep schedule so have not had wet dreams or nocturnal erections in that time.

Well, this was bad. I had some mild tunica thickening from 5 years ago that caused no issues. But, the doctor theorizes, by not having erections, I have developed fibrosis throughout the entire tunica. I suffer from unbearable pain while flaccid, centered on the area of prior injury, and it is spreading and worsening. At night, my penis becomes semi erect when laying down, and I have to stand up every hour, or it unbearable.

There is no way to replace an entire tunica, and I am exploring penectomy, as I have no quality of life.

Dont make my mistake. Use it.

Please be kind and gentle with me. In hindsight this was moronic but I had no idea this could happen. I have been unhoused and through hell in this time, and am disabled and continue to have other medical criseses happening.

Sorry to hear about your situation. I'd recommended visiting a qualified urologist if you have not already so you can better assess your situation.

Just my two cents, but if you really do have all of these other health situations going on, perhaps those are a higher priority than your dick right now?

You must be going through hell, but you have to try and stay calm. You don't need to remove your penis, almost for sure. That's crazy to think about. There are so may treatment options and medications you can try! What you need is a doctor that is able and willing to help you on this.

I can imagine your suffering going through this being disabled too with compounding health issues. But dont quit. Talk to us about your struggles man! there are people here that can listen to you as you vent, and help you devise a plan.

There's been folks here that went to him. He's a good doctor it seems. There's always negative reports of all doctors out there.... Don't be discouraged. Who else do you have in mind? And what kind of research have you been doing?

Dr Levine is my Dr and I have always liked him. I did not have any surgery though, but for me he was easy to talk to and he listened to my questions and I never felt rushed.

The problem is my dick is affecting the other stuff. I can't sit or lay down for more than 45 minutes before my penis painfully fills up with blood and I need to stand again. And every bowel movement causes it to tug and tear on itself so im in excruciating pain all day as well, and get no sleep. It is a waking nightmare

I understand that something drastic like penectomy sounds insane, and that no surgeon will do it. But to have no quality of life, to be 100% disabled, and homeless as a result, to be unable to sleep. I dont know what else to do

Like we said.. there are solutions, treatment, doctors you can go and see. You need to devise a plan of action. If you thought about this for a bit... what would you say it's your next step?
