Auto inflation?

Hello everyone, I was curious to know if anyone else has experienced this during the course of their IPP (3-piece) journey...it has now been 2 weeks since my surgery and I have had a constant erection (more like half of an erection) ever since for 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week and it hurts like hell! My surgeon says it is "auto-inflating", possibly because a "capsule" is forming around the reservoir, thereby preventing all of the saline solution from going back into the reservoir. Has anyone else experienced this and are there any suggestions for dealing with this issue? Thanks all!

Hello Chad! Are you sure he said auto inflating? Because if it's only been two weeks, could it be that it's your doctors protocol to leave the penis inflated to stretch out the tissue? Some doctors do it that way whilst others start inflating and deflating as soon as possible to help prevent exactly what you are talking about. Scar tissue forming around an empty reservoir....

There's been several members here that had issues as well so it would be worth it for you to drop by the penile implant section an comb through the diaries there.. ...

By the way, who was your doctor? And how did the surgery go? Also.. Why did you get ED in the first place?

Welcome aboard!

Hello, no, I specifically asked whether it was left inflated and I was told it was not and that everything was working fine in the operating room. I got the surgery because of abdominal surgery that severed my nerves preventing normal erectile function.
