I was recently diagnosed with Peyronie's disease 24-year-old male. I started having/noticing symptoms on July 5th of this year, with an indentation along the left side of my shaft, mild pain, and an hourglass deformity, and also saw some discoloration on my shaft. at this moment, I have no curvature, still some mild pain from time to time, and the hourglass deformity comes and goes. I can get and maintain an erection. I went to see a urologist at the beginning of this month and explained my symptoms, and he proceeded to look at my penis and told me, "Everything looks normal. Good rigidity." Little did I know they still diagnosed me with Peyronie's. I recently got a second opinion from a different urologist and pretty much got the same answer. He explained to me what Peyronie's is and basically said, "If I didn't have a major curve while erect, that would make sexual intercourse difficult, then I wouldn't have anything to worry about". I asked him for an ultrasound, and he told me "nothing would really show up on an ultrasound, especially any kind of scar tissue damage" (which we are assuming is what my situation is). At this point, I'm just kind of monitoring it. ice and heat with my healthy diet. kind of felt thrown out as if my situation isn't really a big deal. I'm going to see another urologist on the second of next month, hopefully I can get some more definitive answers. any thoughts would be helpful and greatly appreciated. Feel free to ask me any kind of questions you may have. Thank you.

Welcome to the forum Sparky4377 and thank you for filling out your signature line. Now please download and study our survival guide-->Survival Guide.
Sorry to hear about your Dr's visits and their uneducated approach to peyronies. Many of us have had to visit 3 4 or 5 different Dr's before we found one who was educated and would work with us. What you can do now is to download our survival guide and take it with you to your appointment. Talk about traction therapy and VED therapy as this does help a lot of us men. It can help you regain any lost length and help with restoring and smoothing out dents for some men.

Peyronies thrives on inflammation and reducing that will be a plus in treating this disease. I personally know from heat therapy that it helped me out tremendously!
It is true that ultrasounds sometimes don't show everything, but if you are going to have one you should have an erection.

It is good that you do not have any curvature. Also be careful regarding sex and always use a lot of lube and be gentle. It also sounds like you have a clear mind about this and are not subject to worrying - this is a plus!!

Study the forum as you are your own advocate as a lot of Dr's are just not educated and seem to not care because it is not a big $$ maker. Welcome again!  :)
