Hi all,

This will be my logbook for the evolution of my Peyronie using RestoreX.

A bit about my Peyronie :
Started in June 2024, left bend and was getting worse over time. Probably because of the position where she's on me (position where she gets orgasm) but I had always a bit of pain in that position (2,5 yrs of relationship in june 2024). No morning woods, no night erections anymore (since longer than the start of my Peyronie, but I can't remember since when).

September 2024 (4 months into it), 1st urologist : « There's nothing to do ». I started taking Vit E.

October 2024 (5 months), 2nd urologist : « There's nothing to do. » I started to feel a plaque at left side.
Peyronie getting worse.

January 2025 (7 months), 3d urologist : « Too late for Verapamil injections, too soon for surgery. There's nothing to do. Take 5mg of Cialis (Tadalafil) a day. » He did an echography : no calcification. He wasn't familiar with RestoreX.

End february 2025 (9 months) : glans bending 45° to the left with palpable plaque under glans, penis shortened in length, I purchased a RestoreX, I am happy with Tadalafil, I stopped with Vit E, I take Acetyl L Carnitine. Saw a 4th urologist : « Tadalafil is good. Start with RestoreX for 4-6 months. Take phytomedication (Arginine, Carnitine and other stuff). Do a 5min massage on the plaque every day with argan oil. After RestoreX, use argan oil or cicaplast. Peyronie is now fixed, will not move anymore. »

Begin march (9 months Peyronie), saw 5th urologist :
« 1. RestoreX is not useful for plaque at end of penis + 1h/day is not enough. You better do 2h to 4h a day.
2. You can try 8 sessions of Verapamil + vacuum pump, where you have 10% chance to have 15° reduction in bend. 90% chance to have no change (Verapamil is not injection with needle, it's kind of a glass bell you put on the plaque and the verapamil goes through the skin).
3. You can try PRP injections.
4. You can try the Leriche technique, which is breaking the plaque with needle.
5. You wait 12 months into Peyronie and you do surgery.
6. You wait 2028 for a new collagenase which will be similar to Xiapex. They're ending phase 2 and will start phase 3 now. »
NOTE : none of those techniques (except surgery) involves complications to the penis. That is what he said.
He did echography : no calcification.

First observation: I am VERY surprised by the differences between the doctors.
I am now a bit lost and don't know what to do. Should I try PRP ? Should I try verapamil ? It's not that expensive and there are no complications...

I have a RestoreX and I am using it every day at least 1h. It took me 2 weeks to master it. It's not confortable (bit painful), but I am ready to make it a try for 6 months and see (even if the last urologist told me it's not useful for plaques at end of penis. But my plaque softens A LOT after a 1h use, so I hope it works).

Should I try VED + RestoreX ?

What do you guys advice me ?

I'll keep you updated about my Peyronie evolution with RestoreX use.

Your situation sounds similar to mine.

The only things worth doing is taking 5mg Tadalafil, VED and RestoreX.

I'm from the UK and Xiapex was withdrawn a few years ago. I've been told by a urologist they are now doing collagenase injections.

I am trying to research more into the doctor and clinic providing this treatment by asking for other peoples experience on here.

Whatever you do, do not do shockwave therapy, PRP or Verapamil. None of these are proven to work and are just money making scams.

I am now 36 years old and developed peyronies in 2023 through lots of vigorous sex and sex parties.

By early 2024 I had a 30° curvature up and to the left and a loss of spontaneous erections.

I agree with BentKnob, shockwaves and PRP have hurt some people. I tried verapamil and it didn't work, I lost a lot of money, vitamin E doesn't work either. This forum should advise against those treatments.
I haven't tried "restorex". I hope collagenase helps.

Thanks guys for responding.
I'll keep you updated about my progression.

Xiapex is actually possible, the last urologist said, but it's 11500$/dosis, because of import from the US. And you need between 2 and 4 dosis...

I hope RestoreX will help, because it's true that my plaque starts in the glans, which is inside the clamps of the RestoreX. And mechanically-wise, that part of the plaque won't stretch...
I red that VED is a bit more difficult to use, but I have an appointment this month at the hospital in order to show me how to use it properly.

I red your journal BentKnob. Be patient till 6 months :-).

I just want to second that post where bentknob mentions shockwave, prp and verapamil are not effective. That's true. Years on this board and results were never there. Few if any accounts of actual long lasting improvement with these treatments...

Hi all,

It's been one month using RestoreX, so time for an update.

Pain : It took me 3 full weeks to really master it AND that my penis got use to it. The counter bending was painfull until day 20. Afterwards, no problem. The straight stretching and the counterbending are right now without any pain. Cannot report any bad consequences after 4 weeks of use.

Time : I did it every day for at least 1h. Sometimes 2x[15min straight+15min bending], sometimes 1x[30min straight+30min bending]. Often, I did 1h30.

Use : I put make-up pads which help a lot. I wrap up the base of my glans until 1,5cm after my glans. I use Coban tape. I do not recommend Peha-haft. Other pro-tip : do it seated (I do it while seated on the edge of the chair) or laid down, but DO NOT do it while walking : you could hurt yourself because of a sudden strong stretch (happened to me...). This is not what you want. I do the counterbending at last click (120°). After use, I put some Cicaplast cream because the Coban tape can hurt and irritate the skin after taking off.

Results : First of all, after 4 weeks of RestoreX, I can, on my best days, use it at one click of the very end of the long rods (straight stretching). I was only at ½ - 2/3 of it at the beginning. So this is good sign. I took a pic of my penis in erection today. I checked it really really well and compared it really well with the picture taken a month ago and... yes... there is improvement in the curve. It's not much but I can tell there is. And the doctor said that RestoreX wasn't done for plaques at the base of end of penis... So there's hope !!! (I did a pic for comparison, but don't know how to post it. Send me PM and I'll send it if you want).
But strange is that I have now a very slightly upward bend (without new plaque). Perhaps the degrees I lost in the left curve, I gained it in a upward curve (by squeezing the part of the plaque that is inside my glans with the clamp of RestoreX)?

Other : 5mg of tadalafil/day gives me a lot of lower back pain. 2,5mg/day is good. Doctor recommend using 5mg every two days so that there's more in my blood over time. I started that yesterday. I also take 2g of L-arginine and 2g of acetyl L-carnitine every day. I also do karaté 2 times a week and I run. Motion is lotion ! Good for blood flow, good for everything ! My diet is good and I try to drink a lot of water.

Thanks for posting this!

Your experience with RestoreX has been very similar to mine.

It took me around 3 weeks to get the hang of RestoreX. It was frustrating at first and painful.

Once you master it and your penis adjusts to the procedure then it's so easy to use.

I've been using RestoreX consistently for 18 weeks now.

I do 10 mins straight stretching, 10 mins downwards counterbending and 10 mins right counterbending.

I have a 30° upwards to the left curvature.

I've had an indent smooth out where the curvature is. It hasn't improved in degrees yet.

I do one 30 minute session every evening.

I am now looking to get collagenase  injections as many see a 50% reduction in curvature with these along with Tadalafil, RestoreX and VED.

My journal is here with pictures.

Hi all,
It's been two months using ResoreX. Time for update.

Pain : it's not comfortable but no real pain.

Time : I never missed a day. I'm doing it 2x[15min straight+15min counterbending right], but more 1x[30min straight+30min counterbending right]. Often, I added 30min of counterbending down because of a dorsal counterbending starting at the same time I started the RestoreX (but without new plaque). But that new bend (now not evolving anymore) is bothering me less (esthetically-wise) and is less pronounced.

Use : no change of RestoreX use since last time (see my post of 30.03.25), but I started to use the VED for 15min/day. Not every day though.

Results : definitely a change. From a approx 47° to approx 37°. Also in length I gained. I cannot say how much, but it's better.

Other : with 5mg of tadalafil once every two days, I still have back pain. Maybe I should go back to 2,5mg/day ?

Hello,

3 months (12 weeks) of every day RestoreX use.

Didn't change the protocol.

Results: I gained in length and curvature (12 to 15° depending on the pictures, the way I measure and the erection).
The evolution was slower from week 8 to 12 than from week 4 to 8. I hope this doesn't mean the end is near.
Since the plaque is more stretched out, the indent is also more pronounced. Not terrific, but still. I hope I can correct this with the VED.

Other: I see a psychologist since december. There's a good match and it helps me a lot. I try to understand WHY the Peyronie came into my life. I'll write a seperate post about that in a few.
With my gf, we see a sexologist. Only had one session for now, but the match seemed to be good (actually we went to another one in January, but I didn't match with her).
I try to be a lot on sport and good diet. Just finished a 20km running race for which I trained hard. I have also karaté exam in two weeks.

Don't forget:
1. The Holy Four: diet, sleep, mental condition, physical condition.
2. This is a marathon, not a sprint. Patience is the key.

Reach for any question.

Hi all,

It's been 4 months on the RestoreX.

I changed protocol to correct my small upper bend. Instead of doing 2x30min, I do 20min straight, 20min counter right, 20min lower bend.

Results: It's still improving, but now slowlier. This month from +/- 36° to +/- 33° (left curve). I'm happy it's still improving :-).

The plaque gets more stretched out, so the hourglass effect gets more pronounced. I try to correct that with VED use 15min/day when I can.

Note: I missed 3 days this month. The first days missing in 120 days therapy.
Note 2: I've been going to the sexologue with my girlfriend. Wednesday, she will try the EMDR therapy on me to try to cope with my new penis which I still have difficulties to accept... + I'm still going to my individual psychologist. It's an amazing match, I'm super happy about it.

Hello,

It's been 4,5 months now using RestoreX (it had to be 5 months, but I didn't use it for 2 weeks because of holidays).

Still doing 20min straight, 20min counter right bend, 20min counter down bend.

I also use the VED consistently since May, because the dent is more pronounced.

I changed tadalafil use from 5mg every 2 days, to 2,5mg every day, which is better cause the majority of my erections are at night.

Results: I'm at +/- 31° left and up bend now, which is still improving and far from my initial 47°.

I was worried to have soft glans because twice I woke up with a soft glans erection. But the tadalafil and VED seem to help for that.

I'm kinda worried with the dent (a bit hourglass). Did I do too much of RestoreX ? Do I have to stop it ? What about the VED to correct this ? Manual traction ?

My condition and situation is very similar to yours. I tried also VED and RestoreX. First I thought is was good for my penis. It seemed to get straight but than I realized it was because I got a new plaque on the other side. The plaque got bigger and more stretched. So I stopped. I think I made it worse. What do you think? Do you see real progress? Or just new plaques and a different bent?

Isn't your new plaque independent from the RestoreX use ? That is what I would believe...

I was this week at my urologist. I told him about the new hourglass effect. He told me it has nothing to do with RestoreX. He said it's the normal evolution of the plaque. It's possible. But I would believe that since my plaque is now more stretched out, that that would also be a reason for the hourglass effect.
But I don't have any new plaque since I use RestoreX and VED.

Anyway, I see real progress. I think the traction therapy is one of the best therapies there is. I gained 16° in curvature. I hope for more...

Hi all,

It's been 6 fully months now of using the RestoreX (and 3 months VED).
I have a strange (but happy) feeling about my Peyronies...

At month 5 into the traction device, I started to use the Confort Grip. It's a more logical way of grabbing the penis/glans. The straight stretching is better, but the counterbending is less counterbent than the clamp because of the way the device is made (glans is not fix enough in the circular device). Though, I still have to use gaze because it is slipping out without. I would say that it's overall better (less slippery + less pain) but it's not a big game changer though.

At month 4 – 4,5, the plaque (which is on the left side under glans) started to break into 3 (or more ?) smaller parts. Today, the plaque is much more smaller than at the worse moment. Did it cure ? I feel it softened. Was it going to do so without the RestoreX ? Maybe not as much, but the RestoreX didn't do everything... I have the feeling that the tadalafil helps therefor, bringing a lot of blood and thus oxygen, for cicatrisation. Plus, at month 5 I gained a lot of degrees (more than other months), I think also because I slept a lot (holidays), and thus more erections in morning sleeps. Does that make sens ? I was also in a better vibe because of summer, sex, holidays, sun, friends. It's all hypothesis...

Today my curve is not a real problem. I can have sex without problem. It's at approximately 19° (47° at worst moment, 6 months ago), BUT... the hourglass effect (well... at least dent on left and up) is now really visible. Probably because of the new shape of plaque. Is it going to cure ? I hope so. I have a question here : how can it be narrow on the right side, if the plaque is on the left (it's not as narrow as the left and up side though)? Anyway, like I once red here on the forum, sex is about having sex and not about a penis inspection. My girlfriend, overall really supportive with me, doesn't give a f*** about the curve or any other effect. I think I past my darkest day now. I hope it will go bettering :-).

Btw, I tried a month « without added sugar » with my gf. It was very interesting thinking about all the transformed products we usually eat (and I'm overall healthy anyway). Sugar is the best and worst thing...
I also like the Wim Hof Method so do once in a while a cold shower (2 times a week) and breathing exercices.
I added CoQ10 200mg/day to my supplements.
I think that my overall healthy lifestyle (2 to 3 times a week sport + good sleep + avoiding stress as much as I can + healthy food + big social life) helped me to cure the Peyronies.
I also stopped watching porn since almost 2 months now, just to see how that influences my life. And... I don't know, lol. I masturbate less now, but I can't say about other changes.
And, last but not least, I continued with my psych therapy. Really amazing all what I discover about myself!

(If you want pics, I can send, like I did for Ukguy1234)

Great report Alex! Just. Know that I had a laugh when you said that sex was not about doing a penis inspection. Lol about the dent I am not really sure restorex would help on that matter  but the vacuum device would be more appropriate. But you probably now by now. Just hard for most to do both at the same time....

I don't really know why only after 5 months did you see the most progress... If anything.. I would attribute that to the fact that you were consistent!

I think that this is a key point on your detailed description.
Do peyronie plaques, break by traction;
Do they dissapear?
Because you had initially  1 plaque ,then 3 pieces, and afterawrds again 1 smaller plaque.
Taking into consideration the area of the 'plaque"(just under the glans) maybe  it was something else instead of peyronies?
For example sclerosing lymphangitis that is starting to get better?
