I was diagnosed with prostate cancer 8/23. Decided on radiation which was completed 12/23 with View Ray MRIDIAN at Hoag in Newport Beach. Since it was MRI guided it was only 5 visits with 850 rads each treatment. I believe the damage to my penis was a result of my penis laying up instead of down. I didn't think of it at the time. A few months later I noticed the kink or bend with a dent. After my diagnosis, I decided to try restorex instead of going for the shots directly. Started in 10/24. No change either way so I decided to go for Xiaflex. Had my first shot yesterday. I will post more info in a few.

The shots didn't hurt much at all. First shot was for pain and then he put the Xiaflex in next. Really underwhelming as I thought it was going to be painful. Just a pinch really. I will post photos as soon as I figure out how.

Sorry about your cancer and hopefully you will never again have it. So it sounds like you like your Dr and hopefully you can get some improvements. Please share with us more.

Thank you Mikel7. So far so good on the cancer. It seems I can't copy post my photos. At least using my phone. Do they have to be jpeg?  Any other info on how to post photos? Just started traction today. Next shot this Thursday. I will update on that soon after.

I think that you need to have them a smaller size for the forum. I think a jpeg or jpg or png is acceptable. On the bottom of your reply click on the arrow that says click or drag files here. Then you can only do one at a time.  If you are still having problems ask Lcwillisjr as he is the forum software guru.

I had my second shot today. It pinched pretty good this time. Don't know why. It doesn't really matter. I'm just happy to be on my way to straighter. This photo was today. As you can see, there is a bruise already starting on the top left. Maybe more when I remove the bandage. I have one showing the bend prior to the shots. I will try to attach that one.
Okay I figured it out. So the erect one is just before the first shot. I couldn't get a firm erection that morning. Wasn't in the mood but I wanted to get a photo prior to the first shot to kind of document the progress.

Had the second shot yesterday. Definitely hurt worse this time. Still only for a few seconds. No big deal. Bruising started within just a few hours. Today it is much worse. See attached photo. It doesn't hurt at all unless I squeeze in the area of the shot. Starting restorex traction tomorrow morning. I will check the results in a couple days to see if the downward curve has gotten better.

The pictures uploaded just fine. Hopefully your traction therapy will help straighten things out. Did your Dr say that you could use heat therapy for healing? Keep us posted and good luck!   Mikle7
