I am a 66 year old South African male. Got Peyronies Disease in 2024. Still don't know how. First felt a small lump and a 35 degree bend to the left. Saw the urologist and he confirmed Peyronies Disease. Six months later the plaque seemed to become smaller but longer. By now I had a 90 degree bend. Still deciding the way forward.

You might be one of the first South Africans to post on the forum. What kind of doctors or resources do you have where you live?

Yes it sounds like you have peyronies but to what degree is another thing. Are you in any pain? With or without erections? Are your erections good or not. Have you tried anything to help out?

Getting a peyronies Dr can be difficult but that is why you need to educate yourself so you will have a netter understanding what is going on and how to combat it.

Look into traction therapy and possibly VED therapy. Also are you taking any tadalafil? The tadalafil will help out with erections and bringing in fresh oxygenated blood and help reducing inflammation.

Getting a hold of your anxiety, if you have any is the first thing to eliminate. All of us men here have dealt with the worrying and what to do with this disease. Your mind can wander off if you are not careful. Great to have you here and read the forum and study up, ask questions, get involved.   :)
