Hi All. My name is Joseph and I am 60yo. I was diagnosed with Peyronies Disease in 2021 at age 57. I have explored treatment options with a couple of urologists. Both said the injection treatments would provide some improvement but not cure me of Peyronies Disease. I have resigned to live with the condition, but I still fight depression over it and am reluctant to my intimate with my spouse. I am grateful for this forum and its members.

Sex was to important for me to just accept that my sex life is done without a fight.  I also had ED from Peyronie's as well being diabetic.  My ED came on and did do the shots for awhile, I remember the first time I was to get a shot in my pecker from a guy nurse, talk about uncomfortable and also thinking about a needle going in to my pecker, got over the nurse quickly as I received one of the hardest erections I had in years.  Well fast forward a couple of years the Peyronie's got worse and the trimix didn't work as good, next step, implant.  Best thing I ever did, absolutely loved it and when it failed after only 5yrs I was devastated.  Didn't know how long it would be to get a revision but I found a surgeon that got me in 3 months after the failure, that was June of this year,  I like this revision better than the first implant.  Don't give up, we live once and if your significant other enjoys sex I would be trying everything in the world to get my erection back.

Hey captKirk!

Welcome aboard. There is no need to resign and live that way. There are many things you can try. One key thing is to have a plan of action. For that you have to get and stay informed.

Have you read our survival guide on the forum? What did the urologists say exactly? You can try traction (restorex and others) and possibly look into xiaflex injections if your erections are still satisfactory.
