Scar Tissue due to Viagra

I am in my mid 20s. I went on vacation and took a viagra because I was drunk. I fell asleep with a boner and the next day realized the left side of my penis was swollen. I masturbated and what I think was trapped blood went elsewhere. Sometime later I realized my erection now curves slightly to the left. I can feel scar tissue where the inflammation occurred. I went to the doctor and he told me to come back in 2 weeks. He is not a/an? urologist. Obviously, my scar tissue is due to a specific trauma and has not been accumulated slowly over time. I was told not to touch my unit until I saw him again, but I couldn't resist. I had sex with a girl I've been seeing and felt no pain during intercourse. My worry is that during the acute phase (i believe my scar tissue will evolve over the next 12-18 months) there's a better chance than not that my curvature gets worse instead of better. I hope that because I'm a healthy young man I have a better chance of "spontaneously" healing but who the F~@< knows. I'd rather take things into my own hands and use a traction device to straighten my penis. Besides the unfortunate curve to the left when erect I have experienced no other symptoms. I consider myself lucky considering what happened, but I'm here because I don't want the situation to worsen. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/24261900 I have done my research and traction therapy, especially in the acute phase seems to be effective. Straightening my penis as well as gaining an inch in length (or breaking even if my penis shrinks in the meantime) is pretty appealing compared to the other options out there. Unfortunately, none of the studies mention WHAT traction devices were used and HOW they were used. I believe that the people on this forum are more knowledgeable than my doctor is regarding penile scar tissue. I have been in a very dark place the past few days wondering what might happen to my best friend. I am still a young man and I hope to have a healthy sex life for the foreseeable future. All advice will be greatly appreciated :)

Something else I want to point out. In the area where the inflammation occurred I can feel the scar tissue, and that is the direction my penis curves when erect. When my penis is flacid the tissue all around seems harder than I remember. Is there a possibility that because I had an erection for so long most of my remaining penile tissue will scar as well? If so, besides traction therapy, what can I do to promote healthy tissue regeneration as opposed to inelastic tissue?

Def get started by reading the survival guide: Peyronies Survival Guide - Information for New Members - Peyronies Society Forums
starting points: find a doc who will do an ultrasound to confirm peyronies and if so prescribe pentox and low dose nightly cialis or viagra.  Then add traction.  Best devices are suction cup on glans rather than noose as can be worn much longer.  The ESL40 is very inexpensive strap option as you can wear it all day under your clothes.  The penimaster pro is similar but more expensive.  Restorex is the most expensive but preliminary results show good outcomes with only 60-90" daily wear time.  Traction will not add length, unless it was lost due to peyronies.  Keep us posted.

Money is not an object when it comes to my penis. Would you recommend the RestoreX above all? Also, if I have normal erectile function is it safe to assume that I dodged a bullet and saved the rest of my penile tissue from scarring? Or can the scar tissue be developing and I won't notice the effects until later? I currently live in Shanghai hopefully I can find a knowledgeable urologist.

You are a mental wreck. Taking Viagra when you didn't need it. Going against your doctors advice and having sex. You have all these treatment ideas before you know what you have. Take a deep breath. See a good Urologist and do what he or she says!! No, we do not know better than your doctor what is good for you. Nor does google. You may have to come back to the USA for treatment
5 Rounds of Xiaflex. Good results.

I am definitely a mental wreck. I was drunk and made a poor decision I'm sure you've done the same at some point in your life. Let's not lecture me on my decision making skills when I was impaired and focus on the issue at hand. I doubt having sex when I was told not to will adversely affect me. He wanted me to monitor my morning erections to make sure I had normal erectile function. I believe having sex proved that I still have normal erectile function.

I am not going to touch my unit for the next 2 weeks. I don't think there are any peyronie specialists in Shanghai, but there is a renowned urology center I will visit. I will see my doctor in a few days and go from there. I have many questions to ask that will put my mind at ease. I will let you know how the doctor and urology visits go.

I went to about 4 hospitals in Shanghai and only 1 urologist seemed knowledgeable about the situation. He told me I do not have Peyronie's, simply a band of scar tissue caused by priapism. He recommended a 16 dot procedure that I declined. He prescribed me 5mg of Cialis to be taken before I go to bed, vitamin E and colchicine. I've read that vitamin E and colchicine do nothing but they were laughably cheap so I took them. None of the hospitals had Pentox and I was told traction therapy was an "American thing". I asked about an ultrasound and the doctor told me he wouldn't be able to ascertain anything from the results. This hospital was recommended to me by the hospital my GP recommended me to. I visited a hospital I have been to before with no luck. Basically, I have scar tissue that is causing penile curvature. I don't know if it's going to get better, worse, or stabilize. I need to find access to Pentox, decide what penile extender to purchase, and go from there. I think I'm on my own in China. I may travel to South Korea soon and seek help there if I can't get the right advice in Shanghai. I have an appointment tomorrow morning so I'll update everyone then.

See if the ESL40 ships to China and perhaps a generic VED easy to by online even in China.  Not all take pentox, so you could skip that.

I understand that these introduction threads are locked after 10 posts. I know what I'm going to do as far as treatment (pentox, 5mg cialis before bed, l-arginine and l-citrulline, penimaster pro), but my scar tissue was caused by low-flow priapism. Is it safe to use traction therapy after priapism? I'm assuming it's the same considering the underlying issue (penile scar tissue) is the same. After this question is answered I will create a post with pictures showing my progress so that if my condition improves others can follow what I will do in another thread.

I have not heard or read of any contraindication for traction w peyronies due to priapism.

I know most men get freaked out in a hurry when it comes to our "junk". But I want to encourage you to slow down. Give your penis a chance to heal itself. I would advise you to listen to those who have knowledge and from experience give your penis a little rest. I know you are young, but you can go 7-10 days without sex or masturbation.  I believe you will be ok. I do understand the need for panic. But relax a little and let it heal itself. Good luck
