I had peyroines for 2 plus years .. went to urologist 1.5 years ago and said if it gets worse to consider using the xiaflex treatment. I think it's gotten to the point where something needs to be done.. I feel plaque like a chord on the upper side of the shaft  location at base of penis with 60/90 degree bend with only 50/75 percent erection possible..would xiaflex or traction device be helpful at this point ? Thanks for any ideas or recommendations

Hi Astros!
First of all, you should go with a urologist specialised in Peyronie's. Don't bother going with general urologists, they don't know much about it. If you say it's still getting worse, it means that the plaque it's still active, and if it's still active, it means that there are different treatments that you could use. I'm myself only 4 months into this, so I prefer to not recommend you any specific treatment, other more experienced member will be more able to help you. Don't start any treatment before consulting with a good urologist who knows about it, you could be doing more damage. Even if anything else can be done (from your post it's not clear to me if the plaque is still active or not, usually it stops after 12 months of being active) you always have surgery treatments, but I would always make sure that you can do something else about it before taking that road. Keep us informed, good luck!  ;)

Thanks for the info.. i will look for a specialist on peyroines..I think the plaque is still active or atleast slowing down but it has become slightly worse during last 6 months and compared to a year and half ago much worse.

Can someone point those of us looking for an expert with Peyronies to either a list of recommended doctors here or how to find one?
