Michiganguy19, Sorry you have peyronie's and arthritis at 26, that is a bummer for sure  :(

I am 54 and suffering for 4-5 Years with peyronie's although I  don't have pain or worsening curvature at this time.

Below are some supplements you may wish to investigate;

Ionic Magnesium, I take it with Fulvic Acid and is made by Good State. Magnesium is a muscle and joint relaxant and I recommend it. I am also considering taking Ionic minerals as it is much easier on the body than tablets.

Turmeric has also been reported favourably for its anti-inflammatory properties, it is the Curcumin in it that reduces joint pain. Take it with Black Pepper and oil (Olive or Avocado oil is recommmended)

Serrapeptase, It can help with pain nut does not cure completely Peyronie's, ALC I find is better.
Acetyl L Carnitine is recommended for Peyronie's, I buy it with R-Lipoic Acid included, taken internally, alpha lipoic acid is a water- and fat-soluble antioxidant that is capable of regenerating other antioxidants, such as vitamins C and E. It is also believed to exert numerous soothing effects on skin condition.

Ubiquinol (a reduced form of Coenzyme (Q10) which I and many on the forum are supplementing with as it supposedly helps break down penis scar tissue, It is recommended over Q10 after age of 40, because you are only 29 Years old you may prefer Q10 as it is somewhat cheaper to Ubiquinol.

Omega 3 fish oils
Omega-3s block inflammatory cytokines and prostaglandins, and are converted by the body into powerful anti-inflammatory chemicals called resolvins. EPA and DHA have been extensively studied for RA and dozens of other inflammatory conditions.

I really hope some of the above helps you, try and stay positive (difficult I know) but this forum is a great resource for all of us  :)
Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.

Michganguy, that is absurd. Your urologist is a fool, and I'm sure you know that too.

You obviously have Peyronie's. Even the top world class urologists can never find perfect "evidence," with ultrasound. If it looks and feels like Peyronie's, that's what it is.
Begin with traction and VED therapy and consider all the supplements, as you're doing. I'm sorry to hear about your symptoms : ( I also have SEVERE arthritis, and I have no clue what's causing it. It's causing me a lot of frustration and sadness, and mine also started at 26. I'm 29 now!

You definitely need to see a different urologist, a specialist if possible.

Michganguy,

Have you been checked to see if you have osteoporosis? I have similar joint popping in my elbows and right knee, but mine are all baseball and skiing related injuries from years abuse/over use. Absolutely high dose Vitamin D3 10,000+ IU per day, Calcium 1,200+ MG per day and about 1,200 MG per day of Magnesium. For joint issues Youngevity makes a product called Glucogel that you could benefit from the ingredients.

You should get on all other treatments that you can while you find a uro who will prescribe Pentox. It might even be faster to try to get the prescription from a general practitioner rather than a specialist.

Traction, heat, VED, coq10, acetyl carnitine etc. Have a read of the forums and the newbie treatment guide. Your problem sounds like typical Peyronie's so the typical treatments should help.
This is an emotionally destructive condition, we all have it, let's be nice to each other.

Review of current treatment options by Levine and Sherer]

Get another urologist ASAP, a true specialist on Peyronie's such as Dr. Levine in Chicago. Just make it your top priority.

It's unlikely that you can ever remove all the scar tissue from your penis, but you can diminish it and get to a point where it doesn't bother you anymore. Perhaps in theory it is physically possible for scar tissue to go away though. If you have an immune issue, you could try fasting to "reset" your immune cells. You may want to see an autoimmune specialist.

Traction and VED are very effective physical therapies, and supplements and diet play an important role too. Drugs like low dose cialis and pentox are good too.

You can get married, have girlfriends, have sex, it's not over. Now is the time to start getting serious about success with women, if you weren't before.

I don't really recommend any type of injections. In general the disease tends to slow down and stabilize, so begin traction and get your diet on track until you can see Levine or someone similar.

Mich,

Look, what is a rheumatologist do for you? He is going to give you come concoction of drugs that are pure poison. Have you seen the side effects of Humaira? How about cancer, nerve damage, suicidal thoughts. It just isn't worth it. Cleaning up your diet as stated below is key. Do an elimination diet, look it up. Get rid of GLUTEN, and Oats which have gliadin (a protein similar to gluten). This will help your body's ability to absorb better. I was listening to Dr. Cass Ingram the other day and he was talking about osteoporosis and supplements he has to treat osteoporosis. I get your problems with joints popping I get it in my elbow and knee from baseball and skiing injuries and I am pretty much bone on bone in my right (throwing) elbow.  Your body didn't just fall apart all of a sudden. Your body wore down over a period of time and it is going to take at least as long as it broke down to repair. Depending on how long you have had peyronies, you may be a candidate for injection medication. However, no competent URO would do that without having an ultrasound so they know where to target the plaque. I am currently through two cycles of Xiaflex, which is now the gold standard injection therapy; however, it doesn't always work for everybody.

Mich,

OK, there is a procedure called Balloon Sinoplasty. Basically they take a little balloon stick it up you nose, inflate the balloon in the turbinates to inflate them and allow your nose to drain properly. I had a 4-year chronic sinus infection and this done, no more sinus infection. You will get antibiotics along with the and it should clear up your sinus issues. The only problem with this procedure is you will blow bloody gooey snot for about two weeks, but your nose will be clear.
