I'm 65 and was diagnosed with peyronies for the first time about 2.5 years ago. Urologist essentially told me there was nothing he could do, my primary doctor thought I had some nerve problem and prescribed Neurontin.  My symptoms were a series of small lumps at the right  base of my penis, and pain which kept me from sitting for any length of time, also a small plaque spot at the head.  After 2 months the pain went away and I had a minor upward curve just at the end, almost unnoticeable.  About 6 weeks ago I started to experience some pain in both sights, at first slight pain then more constantly but more at the head of my penis.  I recently saw a Urologist suggested by the Peyronies Advocacy sight, a Dr. Alex Vanni, who prescribed Pentox to be taken for 3 months but with the remark that the Pentox hasn't been clinically shown to work but anecdotally some folks say it has worked for them. He told me to stop it if there were problems. The pain has diminished some on its' own but comes back if I go hiking or am very physically active, especially when my penis chafes against my clothing.  I haven't noticed any worsening of the curvature but think the small lumps have increased slightly.  Right now I'm concerned about dealing  with the pain more than worrying if there will be more curvature, I will have to deal with that later if it happens.   Will pentox help with diminishing the pain?

VED, Pentox and Low dose Cialis softened my plaques, stopped the Peyronies progress and eliminated 3 hourglasses.
Regarding pain, many people reported on the forum relieve from Pentox.
Ubiquinol may help also with the pain

Thanks James

I've started pentox and ubiquinol supplement 100mg  but got some side effects, headaches, I think due to and interaction with the alfuzosin I take for enlarged prostrate.  I looked up drug interactions for pentox and found there can be headaches and drop in blood pressure with this combination.  I thought I would take the pentox  with morning and evening meals and the medication for prostrate with mid day meal to see if that helped.  The urologist said that the pain always subsides in time. He was very optimistic, which I appreciated and am encouraged by the fact the pain previously did go away.  Thanks,
