Hi, I'm new here, 49 yrs old (soon to be 50).  I've had congenital downward curvature (<30 degrees) for as long as I can remember and it has not really hindered me (married with three  kids - its functional!).  Recently over the past 6 months or so it has started to curve more - almost 90 degrees now and it gets very painful especially at night.  I've got some lumps / scarring near the base and I want to start somewhere to find out about treatment options.  Any advice on doctors would be appreciated.  I'm in the Houston TX area.
